Just wondering if any other watchers of The View are noticing that Whoopi Goldberg seems really annoyed daily at Sherri Shepard or that she seems at times really bored to be there? Sometimes she seems so hard to get her point across and gets mad when she is interrupted. Sherri and her daily hairdo's really bug..and since Elizabeth has been on leave, I've actually forgotten about her until the other day when Barbara mentioned her.......but lately The View seems so boring....
 
i was just saying the same thing today. i think she just gets annoyed with sherri's stupidity and cannot contain herself. its so funny. but i sometimes feel bad for sherri she looks like her mom just yelled at her in front of her friends. still i completely disagree with sherri's nonsensical conservative views. she is the least informed of all the women and often leads the discussion to someplace silly. agree with the hair too hahaha. but whoopi's outfits are far worse. i can't believe joy is my favorite now.

elizabeth is just an asshat and her husband is ugly and bald. babs is my least favorite cuz she's always such an asskisser when it comes to her rich and powerful friends. i wish they woulda got kathy because she's hilarious, she actually does know her shit and she's not afraid to piss people off.
 
Anyone would be annoyed listening to the stupid shit that comes out of Sherri's mouth. Saying that Christians predate everyone, the world is flat, and that she would not want a trans child shows that she's just a stupid, fat, christian cow.
 
wow ok so i am gay and male and i love Sherri...and Elizabeth...i share a lot of both of their views and Sherri is so funny i can't get enough of it...Barbara is the one who needs to go...oh and Joys constant need to bring the president up is annoying too
 
Whoopi is trying to stop smoking and she's up at the crack of dawn to do her morning show at 5 AM. So, I consider those as factors to why she has such a low threshold of tolerance when it comes to putting up with Sherri; who does say some things that makes me want to jump through the TV and slap her.
 
You couldn't pay me to watch this daily henfest. Rosie brought something interesting to the show and took it with her when she was canned by that cold, hypocritical Walters woman. This show sucked big time before she came on board and it sucks big time now that she's gone.
 
Sherri is a mole. Plain and simple. I actually remember the hot topics about transgendered children and when Whoopi asked her like "what if Jefferey (Sherris Son) was dressing up in girls clothes she was like "It would not happen in my house, i'd say Jeff this is what boys wear and this is what girls wear. You do not wear girls clothes" - So yeah total ignorant mole.

And she says she doesnt believe in evolution and that the earth isn't that old. She's all like "I ain't come from no Ape". Thats a direct quote.

Joys the best. She is so funny, i absolutely love her. And although i loved Rosie, i like the way Whoopi operates. I think she puts forward her point with dignity and she always contains herself. Especially when Elisabitch was damning women who have abortions Whoopi was like "You need to back off and show the women who have had to make this decision some reverance." And she was so right. Whoopi really is kickin butt.
 
There was an article in last week's Entertainment Weekly. It was about how Genie Francis FINALLY apologized for leaving her legendary role as Laura on "General Hospital" ... 25 YEARS AFTER THE FACT!!!

And EW made a prediction that Rosie O'Donnell might 20 years from now apologize to all of us for leaving "The View" and leaving in it's wake the biggest snoozefest on daytime TV today.

I really liked Sherri when she did segments on Ellen...and I liked her on "Less Than Perfect" but I feel besides adding stupid sound clips for "The Soup" and "Best Week Ever" to use she doesn't add a damned thing to the show. You can tell Whoopi hates her....you can tell Barbara isn't too fond of her either Babs is always telling her to stop talking...lol. I think Joy has kinda just shut herself off and she jumps in sometimes but she's so not into it anymore...and Whoopi is so grumpy from quitting smoking that you can tell she cant' stand any of them...lol

and Barbara....I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR FAMOUS FRIENDS CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!!!!!!!!

I think Whoopi and Sherri are just at odd ends in their beliefs. I'm not saying they're totally opposite, but Whoppi seems more liberal and thoughtful, while Sherri is more impulsive and conservative.

OMG when Barbara was showing us the Christmas cards I felt like I was back in my senile great aunts house when she was showing my mom, brother and me pictures from her trip to Antarctica. I felt trapped, bored and antsy. I think Joy felt the same way, because she kept making fun of Barbara.
To me, this is the first time that Barbara really showed her age. And she seemed OLD!

i don't really watch the show, but it just seems sometimes like they brought Sherri in strickly as fodder for ridicule.

I made a post a few weeks ago about a perfect View with out Barbara. I'm at a point where I no longer can sit still for an hour watching the show. I liked Sherri when she was a "guest-host" during the days of trying to replace Star Jones, and when she got the job, it seemed like everything we saw before was an act and the real Sherri is stupid.
 
sherri was always an idiot. no one noticed cuz she never got involved when they had serious discussions. only thing she got serious about was her cheating husband and her unfortunate looking son.
 
The show needs more tension. I loved it when they had Laura Ingraham as a guest co-host. All shows need worthy adversaries, not morons like Sherri or obnoxious blowhards like Joy.
