"The View"...is it just me or.........

I'd like to see all the women: Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, Star Jones, Meredith Viera, Debbie Matenopoulos, Lisa Ling, Elizabeth Hassellback, Rosie Odonnell, Whoopi Goldberg, and Sherri Shepard return for some anniversary special and have one big giant, hot topic segment. Am I the only one who'd want to see that?

I know, she was so entertaining as a guest host. Now it just seems like she's taking up space.
 
I always feel that when Barbara is on, the show becomes so dull and boring, that even the fans/guest seem bored.

DID ANYONE NOTICE THAT BARBARA ASKED WHOOPIE IF SHE WAS BORED TODAY WHEN PEREZ HILTON WAS ON?
 
I did notice that the Perez Hilton segment was more relaxed without Elizabeth there. I bet she would have made it all about her again. Poor whiney thing.
 
Today's show was funny for the simple fact you saw how everyone really felt on their faces...the opening lines were about how happy they all are..joking around even backstage...then they start the first topic..Jaime Lynn Spears....Whoopi about had a fit when she was talking and Sherri tried to interrupt her..wow..the look on Whoopies face...priceless!..Then when Sherri was trying to say her view, Barbara cut her off...then Whoopi cut her off...You could tell how pissed Sherri was!..She sat there looking pissed and staring...Then after the commerical break they went at the topic again...but this time Joy was stating her view and Barbara cut her off and was bugged that they weren't sticking to the "topic question" as to how the "public and what Nickoledeon should do".....it was funny to watch them all get annoyed with each other...Then yeah when Perez was on...Whoopi was out of it and Barbara even asked her "are you with us Whoopi?"...it was classic. The show DEFINATELY is such a bore and stall when Barbara is on...it's like the ladies have to refrain their views, because Barbara is always trying to kiss up to everyone they talk about and she's great at having a view but not having a view. If she keeps standing behind that line "Technically I'm in the news department, so I can't take a political stand" she shouldn't be on "THE VIEW" because polictics is a hot issue....anyhow...I watch now just to notice the annoyances and guess who might leave the show next...my guess Sherri..that is if Whoopi doesn't get fed up and walk off.!!
 
I think Sherri is cute and can be funny, but she is way out of her league.
I agree with Whoppi 99% of the time.
I thought she was freezing out that pompous Perez because she doesn't like him or his parasitic vocation. She or some of her friends might have been his victims.
It must be hard to be a warm, welcoming host when you hate the guest.

I don't know if she doesn't like him, but she was on his VH1 special a few days ago, and she seemed pretty friendly.

Another thing I noticed today: Perez Hilton cut Barbara off. I thought that was really funny.
 
okay, i KNOW violence is wrong and everything...but i seriously wanna see someone get straight bitch-slapped on this show. especially Barbara. personally i have nothing against her but i think i would fuckin ROLL if one of the other girls just hauled off and slapped the shit outta her!
 
Whoopi is always trying to correct Sherri, it's hilarious! I only watch the View oncce in a while to watch the freakshow! Elizabeth makes me LOL with the stupidity she preaches, but Sherri has replaced her as the stupidest broad on there! It's been so much easier to watch without Elizabeth on though, she gets annoying REAL quick. Especially when she's on one of her Christian Republican rants!

I also think Barbara needs to leave. She's like 80, why doesn't she retire already? She's so cold and boring, when she's on the whole mood of the show changes. She really isn't keeping up with the times, she should just leave because she's honestly ruining her own show. She just got a MySpace, how unfortunate! She HAS to be one of the oldest people on MySpace, like honestly now!

That story cracked me up. It took her forever to get to the point and the whole time Whoopi and Joy were looking at eachother trying not to laugh.
You can kind of tell that Joy and Whoopi actually seem to be friends. Its like they both realize how ridiculous things have gotten. :-)
