The Walking Dead [merged]

I like victims who turn it around and stand the fuck up and take charge.....

I don't see what that has to do with Carol.

I'm mad they didn't just go ahead and kill her off for good. How in the fuck could Carol be anyone's favorite character when in four seasons all she's brought to the table is a God damn WebMD doctorate? But y'all were happy to see Andrea go. Good damn bye.

Having said that, this show definitely peaked in the first two seasons and hasn't given me any form of life sense. We're four episodes into this season and Rick sending Carol packing like he was Tyra Banks and she was an ANTM hopeful is literally the only thing that has happened. All the ratings in the world don't compensate for the contradictory and at times ass backward writing we've been served. I'll keep watching though because at this point I hate all of the characters and wanna see them die. (✿◠‿◠)

I agree with the Carol bit but disagree with the first two seasons being the best. In my opinion, the first season was the best along with the first half of the third season. Only a few episodes of the second season were good; the rest of the season was spent looking for Sophia.

I was more fascinated in the moral divide the Sophia search caused, though. You had people who wanted to find her, and people who thought they were better off cutting their loses, and that was interesting. Same with Andrea and Dale being the only people who didn't want to kill their hostage. That is what I liked about the show, on top of the zombies - seeing how this group of people adapted to the new world and decided what was right, wrong and necessary. Last night finally gave me a taste of that.

I personally believe that Rick banishing Carol was a stroke of mercy. He basically told her that the rest of the group had to know. Which meant Tyreese would have killed her. Banishing her may not seem like a good option, but it may have been the best.

And I don't think she'll die. I think she'll be back. It's questionable when, but I have to assume it will be after all of Tyreese's instability is gone.

What I'm most worried about is how Daryl will react... Remembering that scene with Beth and him earlier.. I think he won't do anything. Besides, he's got Michonne wrapped around his pinky now.

Fuck Rick, lol. I was so mad at the end of the show I was hoping a walker ran out in front of him and he wrecked. He could have just kept his mouth shut and that's that. He could have told Carol that she better not kill anyone else, no matter what. And who's to say Tyrese was going to kill Carol, remember she knows Rick would tell, all she had to do was keep her gun on her because you Tyrese wants to put his hands on her so when he showed up talking loud, I would have to capped his ass, body #3. I still think Tyrese is going to attack Rick again for not letting him have his revenge on Carol and basically making the call himself. I hope Carol beats Rick back and she can get Hershal on her side. I also think this will cause some tension between him and Darryl. I bet Darryl goes looking for her.

Wow you must not be watching the same show as I. Hersel the one legged man risk his life to go out and pick stupid ass elderberries so he can soothe the sick, easy walker pickens outside of the fence.
Hershel is in the fucking quarantine area giving the dying tea and getting blood spit all over him from those that will soon be walkers. Hershel holds a lot of weight and he is risking his life to keep those sick alive. How in the world do you think he would agree ever, EVER agree with Carol killing 2 sick living souls????
Tyrese gives not a fuck about life or death he is on the brink of suicidal and he will rip Carol a new asshole when he finds out she is a murder of his Lady. He has nothing to lose.
Rick gave her a break. She'll be back riding with the Guv'nr. She is no hero but a survivor and heartless cunt, as it has to be.

I personally believe that Rick banishing Carol was a stroke of mercy.
She murdered two innocent people in cold blood. She gave up her humanity in exchange for her idea of survival. Plus she practically fed the two innocent hippie strangers to the walkers without giving it a second thought. Rick could have put his foot down, but again his indecision winded up sealing their fate.

Carol was too far gone. She had to go.

But none of that changes the fact that Rick is still a dick.

Just a few episodes ago he was going to give up innocent stranger Michonne to the governor to save his own skin. He didn't think twice. Not only that, but he lied to the group to get away with it. He was counting on the fear created by his lie to override any hesitation they may or may not have had in sacrificing an innocent stranger. He even admitted the truth about his little scheme to Hershel. Hershel was perfectly fine with it. Etc., etc. Plot, plot, plot.

Of course, it didn’t all go to plan, but what does that make them? I suppose all people do eventually change.

She only killed two people who she believed were about to die anyway. Carol said herself that she was putting them out of their misery, which may or may not have actually been the case but that's where she was coming from. She might even have saved a few lives afterall. Who knows?

I don't think those two hippies dying is either her or Rick's responsibility really. To be blunt, it was their own fault for being stupid enough to somehow get eaten on what was a very low-risk job, and I found it kind of strange that there was even a debate on whether or not they should let the new people help out (as if they have final say on what another person can or can't do...)

I get what they were trying to do with Carol in this episode though, like when the other guy didn't show up and she seemed more concerned with Rick losing his watch :\

I don't see how? They were both grown adults and they offered to help, they weren't forced. They were even given a weapon. All they had to do was not run towards a pack of walkers. Rick's own kid has been in much worse situations and managed just fine.

But like I said before I didn't really get why Rick and Carol were treating them like two helpless children who weren't allowed to think for themselves :\ Other characters join in and help out as they please, but these two were handled really weirdly to create a dramatic moment afterward.

I bet Carol comes back whenever they bring The Governor comes back.

That's the show we're watching.

Let me ask you this: Would they have lived that day if they had never met Carol or Rick?

I have no way of knowing that because it's a TV show...
But based on that one episode, I'm surprised that they'd even managed to survive up to that point :\

I'll answer that for you.

They were holed up in a toilet, with fruit. They were safe.

Who was going to come knocking? Pajama girl?

They would have lived.

I'll answer that for you.

I'd rather you didnt :\

But you just said yourself that they were trapped with no way out and almost no supplies, so I don't think that really went the way you were hoping for. Anyway I'm not sure where this is going anymore... I've said all I wanted to about the episode.

I can't wait to hear what Darryl has to say, let alone Tyrese. He may have wanted to confront her. Also Rick that loudmouth guy in the prison in cold blood. He put an ax right in his head because he thought they was a threat. I wonder if Carol will figure out a way to beat Rick back to the prison and explain herself or take the girls and run...or better yet, Rick has a change of heart and turns around. He did the same thing Carol did, he made himself judge and jury of her when he banished her. When he was all nutty and talking to his dead wife, she was seeing about his baby.

POSSIBLE SPOILER (highlight)
The guy who plays Rick says there is a "arc" at the mid-season featuring Carl but he wouldn't go any further. If they go off the comics, the zombies overrun the prison and everyone scatters and Rick and Carl get stranded off together and Rick gets sick and Carl has to see about him and worry about having to shoot him if he gets sick, dies and turns. He goes back and forth between being kid Carl and trying to be a "man" and do what needs to be done. But there is also a chapter where Carl gets shot in head but I think they done that when he got shot instead of the deer and instead of it being a doctor, it was a veterinarian who cared for him. Either way I can't wait to see.

I am so glad the governor is back...now I want him to kill the rest of them...Rick first. He should have banished himself when he killed Shane....

Lol seriously? Shane went bat-shit crazy. Shane was far more of a detriment to the group than Carol ever was.

I don't understand why people are pissed Carol is gone. She's a cold-hearted bitch and doesn't have a major use to the group.
