The Walking Dead [merged]

Looks and sounds intense. I just wish they didn't show so many spoilers. It shows the walkers attack Terminus, it shows the gang gets out of Terminus, it shows Gareth joining the gang, It shows Beth is still alive. Apparently, much of the mystery has already been removed before season 5 even starts.

The Terminus story looks very brief. All that build-up to it from the entire second half of season 4, and now this trailer makes it appear it's not going to last very long.

What I have heard is that the Terminus storyline is only going to take up the first two episodes, and then they will move forward with the comic book story lines. Notice that at about 2:22, you see a minister. This man is Rev. Gabriel Stokes who is a very important character in the comic book, and whose story is going to be important. As for Beth, since she is not in the comics, it's anyone's guess as to what her story will be.

If you watched carefully during the shootout scene at Terminus, where the gang is running from all the gunfire, there is a really brief clip during the fast edits, that pans across a wire fence and you can see what looks like human carcasses laying on the ground stripped of their meat. It happens really fast though and it's easy to miss.

From some of the interviews I've read thus far, I believe some of the actors have stated that the trailer for season 5 is purposefully misleading. In other words, there are several things implied by the trailer that aren't what actually happens. Someone else suggested that the trailer is not in chronological order either.

If you look closely at 36 seconds into the trailer, it looks like Bob gets killed. One moment he's pleading with him, then at 35 seconds the guy has his hand around his head, and at 36 seconds it looks like he is slouched forward with his eyes closed.

"Darryl Dixon May Be Gay"

That's the latest declaration from Walking Dead creators. It is a possibility it will be mentioned in the script.

Well, imagine that.

That's cool and all, but I would be more concerned how they would work that into the script. One of the things that has frustrated me about the relationships on the show to date is that they seem so out of place. The show kind of starts turning into a soap opera at times and becomes ridiculous. These people can barely bathe as it is, they stink, their covered in blood and guts and sweat and then they wanna go hook up??

This past season in particular, when the Governor hooked up with that one lady in the back of the van, I was like "are you kidding me?!". He just met them like the day before, not to mention they were mourning the death of their father, whom he blew his head off with his rifle. Then you got the other sister and the young daughter sitting in the front of the van, while the other lady is fucking the Governor in the back - meanwhile they're surrounded by zombies? Give me a break, lol.

If they do make Daryll gay I at least hope it becomes a more long term part of the storyline, and not some quick Brokeback-eque hook up scene just for the hell of it.

Here is a screenshot of what looks like human bones in the finale...

Don't count on actual gay sex scenes with Darryl. Or even a gay relationship. It's more likely the writers will briefly have it mentioned in a brief conversation that Darryl is gay, and that will be the end of that. And I would be ok with that. It would basically just explain why he never made a move on Carol or Beth in the scenes where he seemed very close to each of them.

Unfortunately a hot scene where Rick experiments with Darryl will just have to stay in my filthy imagination.

I just wanted to stop by, and say that I'm A huge Walking Dead fan, and that I can't waut until season 5 starts I need my Walking Dead fix LOL. I have been with the show from the very beginning, and have all the DVD's, and I have watched all the previous 4 seasons like probably A thousand times, and know every single detail about the show by now. Told ya that I'm A huge fan I wasn't kidding LOL.

So many great characters. And so many gorgeous, hot men on the show as well. And in regards to the discussion of maybe Daryl being gay. I think that would be awesome, and it would kinda explain why he has not made A move on either Carol, or Beth, or any other lady yet. Although I personally always thought that maybe Daryl is just socially awkward around women. But you never know. But I do think that now since they have introduced A female gay character on the show(in season 4 with Tara) that now I hope that they go ahead, and introduce A male gay character on the show as well.

But never the less one more week to go until season 5 starts can't wait!!!

Fantastic premiere. It felt like more happened in this one episode than the entire last season. I'm still recovering from that first scene on the killing floor. Hopefully season 5 can consistently keep this pace going.

Me and my partner thought the trough scene was done very well. Great start to the season.

Something I noted on watching the Season 4 Final episode yesterday that I missed seeing at the end of the last season. This was in the final scene when Rick & company where running out of the candle room into the courtyard where they were ambushed. There is a pile of fresh butchered human spines, ribs and skulls but you wouldn't have paid much attention ant it was just a flash second as they ran by from a distance, but its there.

I am sooooo glad that they didn't spend the entire season at Terminus. Yah, they're cannibals. Scary. Next!

Such an amazing start to the season. And I've always loved Carol ever since the very beginning she's such A great character. And she was amazing in this episode. And it was also amazing at the very end to see Morgan again I can't wait to see what they do with him. And can't wait to see what else they have in store for us this season!

My brother has a theory that he was bit like Hersall and them cutting his legs off saved him though I doubt it I think that Bob was putting up a façade all episode and it finally got to him. No one talks about the horrors they do or what is done on them so it is bound to build up. BTW I so what the Cannibal leader whose name I never learned from last season dead very quickly lol.
