The Walking Dead [merged]

^Huh?

Can't believe we are at season's end! Wow. And Rick has turned into Shane. He was spouting off like Shane at the barn!

Thank God for Michonne. Rick has gone crazy.

I don't really think Rick is crazy, as it is perspective. He does NOT think Pete deserves to live, despite the fact he's a surgeon. I love that he's becoming Shane. I hated Shane early, but he was RIGHT. This is a world where you can't just trust people anymore. If they were to simply throw Pete out, he would survive and he would seek revenge. Rick has seen it. Carol has experienced it. It made her stronger.

And amen to Michonne for saving the group as a whole by knocking Rick out (though the question remains- are they better off in Alexandria or no?)

You sir, bring up two very good points. Shane was right all along (although his delivery was poor in my opinion). Rick now realizes just how important it is to survive instead of trying to be civilized. In their world, civilization is dead. Rick is now Shane, and Deanna is now Rick (if that makes sense).

In terms of Michonne knocking Rick out, I think she did it to save the group as well. She didn't want Rick to "spill" their plans or show their hand. She didn't knock Rick out because he was wrong.

Yes, but my issue with Rick's stupidity is that he's making a stand over domestic violence? Talk about not living in reality. They need a surgeon, boozy, wife beating or not. THAT IS THE REALITY. You forgive sh_t like that in favor of the bigger picture. Not only that but his antics jeopardized the entire group! Deanna was the one who realized that she needed to look the other way regarding Pete because his skills are critical. Rick should have just given Pete the "If I ever hear about you beating Jessie, something bad is going to happen to you" and leave it at that!

Part of me thinks Carol is just taking it all in. "You banish me, Rick? Well, maybe I'll make you disappear as well."

I can't believe its over tonight....I hope it's one hell of a cliffhanger to keep us all guessing and talking until next season

I personally was really disappointed by the finale. I don't know why Norman Reedus said it would make you cry but I do understand why Michael Cudlitz said it would piss you off. Half a season and it wasn't till the very end that Rick finally took the high road and decided not to murder a bunch of innocent people.

"Everybody Hates Chris" is/was a sitcom starring Tyler James Williams(Chris). The same Tyler James Williams that was eaten by a lot of walkers in the revolving door scene.

I was going for a play on words.

"Everybody Hates Chris"

"Everybody ate Chris" :(

Not quite sure if I follow you but I think this season finale was more like a mid season finale. We had a wandering story arc that took us back to Atlanta (Beth) and a totally wasted swan song episode for a character that I don't think too many of us felt that deeply about (Tyrese).

Contrast last night's episode with how season two ended where we killed Shane (twice), the farm was overrun, Andrea was lost, Michonne was introduced, Rick became the "Ricktator" and the prison was shown in the distance. That was a season finale.

However, I think TWD is once again getting its sea legs. It feels like the story is back on track after wandering aimlessly.

I very much liked the final. I wish that every single episode of the season could get an 90 minute airing time frame would be awesome, and more time would mean that more would be able to get done if the episodes were A bit longer. Anyways, like I said I really liked the final, and based on what happened I think it set things up very nicely for next season. The long 7 month wait until October is what is always the worst..... But we did see A little teaser for the spin-off series which I am keeping an open mind about, and I will definitely check that out this summer.

This season's final infuriated me in the sense I wanted the walkers to attack and show Alexandria how ill prepared they are and Rick's people working as a unit killing them, showing that no matter what happens they stick together. Buffy fans if you remember S3 ep2 Dead Man's Party that scene were they are giving off to Buffy suddenly Zombies attack and Xander says I got your back, that kind of thing I wished happened. But then again how they defended Rick and explained him was just as good thanks to the actors and Carol was brilliant she stole the show for me this week.
At the same time it gave us insight into the wolves and kept us wanting for more in October. The human scenes were brilliant of losing it and yet coming together, dealing with lose and accepting what you did is always done well.

I agree with a 90 min episode!

I wish that AMC would premiere the new TWD spin off in a week or so and NOT summer. And when that show is over, TWD would resume. That would be how to do it! But instead they want us to watch Turn or Madmen and that's not happening with me! Whatever happened to Z Nation on Syfy?
