If you ever watch "The Talking Dead" then you will find out a little more of what the director, producer and fans are wanting for this show on a fan base.
They already said it will not have 70% of the comic book story line. More zombies will be populated into the series. More human characters will come and go (die). The farm is just ground setting to bring forth the season two finale and forthcoming third season.
They are listening to fans because they want the show to continue with it success. It is the #1 most watched cable show on Sundays now that the football season is over.
Just sit back and enjoy it to see what happens because if you keep thinking the comic book storyline, you will be disappointed. Plus, if I read the comic books, it is not a golden rule for the TV version to be the same. It leaves the story to no new horizons and predictable.
Sit back, tune in on AMC and enjoy !!!

Ya i saw it. Still moving kinda slow this season. Whats his face so should have not shaven his head. However, it really does make him look more like the villain of the show--in which he is. And makes a damn good one. I have no idea on where the series is going now. This farm situation was cool for a second but focusing it around this entire season kind of sucks. I want to see them back in the streets, malls and in strain-full scary situations. Bring in more people so we can have a larger kill count.....Ah yes. And anyone notice the young guy who was bed side with the old mans wife ? WHo is that ive never seen him the entire season. Well im watching.

Things do not look good for Lori at this point...maybe she'll somehow survive the crash, but gets bit by a zombie and spends the rest of her pregnancy tied to a bed ala "The Dawn the Dead?"

I'm enjoying this season and I am a bit sick of the farm but there is an another issue outside of money, they need exterior sets that look deserted, quite with no real life anymore so a farm somewhere works rather than a city at the crack of dawn where you have to film quick before it comes alive with people.

XD Those two sentences just so happened to be in the same paragraph. But no, I was speaking in the aspect of the show. He isn't good looking. But the reason I would leave him isn't because he isn't good looking; I would leave him simply because I don't know anything about him. I mean who's to say he won't kill me? If it was someone I knew, good-looking or not, I would more than likely save them if I could.
