The Walking Dead [merged]

^ He's going to be a main character on another show.

Guess he couldn't juggle both. I know a lot of stars like to do shows on cable now because it allows them more time to do other projects

Probably had a lot to do with job security, knowing he could be killed at any point in Walking Dead probably wouldn't be the best role to stick with. With him gone they'd best introduce a sexy character or two next season.

Is Shane going to be on an entirely new show or an existing show as a new character?

Do we know who'll play this character? I remember who was rumored to have been cast a while back but...
It was rumored that Rutina Wesley had been cast in the role but I believe her agent debunked that rumor.

Michonne does show up in the finale but the shadow of her hooded cloak makes it impossible to see her face. My guess is they haven't settled on an actress yet so they used a stand-in for the finale.

Jon was on Letterman the other night and admitted that he knew early on that his character wa going to be killed off but was sworn to secrecy about it.
The only person Jon told was his grandmother because he wanted to warn her so as not to upset her when she saw it happen.
How cute is that:D

It's so funny to think of him as sweet and caring for his grandma after watching him as Shane on Walking Dead. Thanks for posting that bit.

I'm trying to wrap my heard around the 2 chained zombies acting as a deterrent. I didn't think other zombies paid attention to other zombies, only the live person so they would more or less crawl over her captives to get to her if they had to. Will be interesting to see this on tv, I can't wait!

Chained zombies?! Where did this come from? Is this a spoiler?? #-o

It's from the season finale summary that was posted a few days ago.

Andrea is exhausted. This is the end of the line. She can't carry her gun-bag any longer, her pistol is out of ammo -- she bashes in a walker's head with it -- now she's down to knives, another walker practically on top of her… enter Michonne to save Andrea at the last minute, towing two armless walkers in chains, samurai sword in hand. (Comic book readers will recognize Michonne as the katana carrying badass who keeps her zombified boyfriend and best friend as "pets." They are shackled with chains and she pulls them along to act as a deterrent to the undead. She cut off their arms and lower jaws so they wouldn't attack her. Picture here.)

I think she drags them around to mask her fresh flesh scent. Sort of like Rick did in Season 1 when he covered himself in zombie guts so he could walk amongst them in the streets of Atlanta.

It is always fun to see guys like him out of charactor just being themselves in a talk show format allowing us to get to know the real indivual a bit :D

I'm sitting on pins and needles until the season closer. Looks like an homage to Night of the Living Dead, which is something I've expected since they landed on the farm. I give the show props for doing such.

Saw that back when it was first made, I seriously thought that was going to be the opening but when I saw one of just scenes of places in the series I was like awww this intro sucks.
Same. Although I like the opening now, this other one seems way cooler. Maybe they'll make a similar one for Season 3 and change it up?

Aww man, no more getting to look at that big bulge in Shane's pants anymore!? That SUCKS!

^ He's going to be a main character on another show.

Oh that's exciting.

I will enjoy seeing him play a different character

I hope he plays a different character with a big bulge

This is the first time I'm refusing to see spoilers :p Wish I could fast forward to sunday

^He's in talking to be the lead character in a possibly upcoming TV show named L.A. Noir.

That's how it goes, if I'm not mistaken.

I like the guy but not the character. The writers really know how to make someone so abominably abhorrent.

Guess he couldn't juggle both. I know a lot of stars like to do shows on cable now because it allows them more time to do other projects

Actually, being in a TV series is more exhausting. You only do a movie project for as long as the shooting goes - the longest a year. In TV world, as long as the series doesn't end and your character is not out of the scene, you can barely stop to take a breath. That's why many actors/actresses who is in a long series (spanning >20 episodes a season) usually drops another project or drop the existing one for another role.

(*8*) Thanks for the info. I'm still so happy even tho it'll only be a tease.

Same here!!!

Ya im sure im late. Just saw the recent "Better Angles" show and this is why this show is so fucking amazing. Two episodes in a fuckin row it has delivered season ending worthy crazy plot developments. WoW, I cant believe all of that really happened. To many spoilers. Good show!

Argh I think this season has been slow as shit. The last 2 episodes are dull as crap until the last 5 or 7 minutes. Basiclly its a bunch of people walking around in the grass on some old farm southwest of Atlanta. Now who does that? Most scenes are just that walking around in old cattle fields outside of beat down cool farm house.
Then all the sudden the last 7 minutes or so shit breaks bad forgiving the whole boring crap.
Also why in the fuck are they driving around in a 1966 blue ford pickup???? Man can't they find something a little better, like newer or are they afraid of getting busted for stealing cars?
That gasoline is gonna gum up anyway, and be worthless soon so cars won't work. I don't think Chevron is producing any new gasoline
I did dig the swamp walker, my type of guy. Perfect dating material. First zombie without a shirt too! Thats according to the producers.
