The Walking Dead [merged]

I thought the finale was just ok. Not quite is shocking or a cliffhanger as finales ought to be. I thought last weeks episode was more season finale material. Last nights episode was a bit too tidy, connecting the dots.
 
lol wow didnt know that andrew lincoln (rick) and lauren (Maggie) had accents lol, its always funny when during the show you think its thier real voice, and then they do interviews and its totally different.

the finale was good, glad they killed off the two characters that had no lines. i had to look up who they were, jimmy was beth's boy friend? where was he when she was all suicidal? and i knew virginia was otis's wife or something.

its one of the problems the show has is since it does have a big cast, some characters (namely t dog and carol after sofia's death) become background characters with hardly any lines or development.

but hey what can you do.
 
Solid season finale. Does appear Rick is now at the point where you can either follow him or be on your own.
As for Lori..good grief,Shane was a murdering psychopath whom you more or less asked to be killed a few episodes ago. She has easily become my most hated character on the show.

I think she would be the next person to die in Season 3, and I am sure Rick will not be as sad when Lori becomes more and more distant with Rick.
 
I was a little sad about Jimmy dying, I kept hoping they would show more of him. He is cute!. And he kept wanting to help the group and get involved..

I think Ricks new attitude is because he views his democratic leadership and soft attitude as what led to him having to kill shane.. so now he is going all nazi..

I will cheer when Lori died. She was just an annoyance until she went all judgemental 50s housewife on Andrea
 
Andrea was the most bad ass person in the episode. Not Rick. I was so mad when Talking Dead put "Rick going bad ass" on their live poll. Andrea turned into fucking Sarah Connor! She was tearing through zombies like a bear tears through twinks. She was fucking incredible!

Honestly, all they want is a fair say and for Rick not to keep secret any information that they have the right to know (ex that they're all infected). That's why they've started doubting him in the first place. Instead of reassuring them, he waves a gun around, admits to killing his friend and then tells them it's a dictatorship. lol

I like that Rick is stepping up and trying to assert himself but he needs to reel himself in or the group will lose the respect they have for him.

It's like Andrea was telling Shane. You can have good ideas but if you don't handle the situation with tact, people will only view you as a bully instead of a leader.

Anyway, I think the group is totally capable of handling themselves. It's not like they're doing amazing with Rick in charge, anyway. Just like with any group, somebody always steps up. Somebody would step up and take Rick's position if he were to be out of the picture. Honestly, I still don't even understand what makes him so much more qualified than the others? I love Rick but come on. *shrug*

Yeah, the 'no democracy' statement was a bit out of the context :rolleyes:

Again, the way I see it, no one's taking head and everyone's virtually in shock so nobody fights back at Rick. Also they're not in unison right that moment; everyone just group around the bonfire and plan their individual getaway. No wonder nobody's reacting anything. Suppose someone gets irritated and rebuffs Rick, he might be the new group leader.

And being honest, is it just me who thinks the last episode was...too dense? The whole season 2 has been really sluggish and watching the finale makes me think the whole idea was forcefully fast-forwarded in order to meet the ends.
 
The best moments were when the zombies were lead out of Atlanta by seeing the helicopter and then they followed the moon to get in the woods by the farm when they heard the gunshots. Nice sequel into how the zombie walk did the same thing in the Season 2 premiere on the highway where they were stranded.


I loved these two clichés by Hershel & Rick in the show;

Hershel says "I can't profest to understand God's plan, but Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something, a little different in mind." What he meant to say is "When there is no more room in hell; the dead shall walk the earth."

Rick says " We're all infected; whatever it is we all carry it." What he meant to say is "It's in you all, there is no medical or logical reason !!!"
 
Carl needs his ass beat, plain and simple. And when Rick is done beating Carl, he needs to tell Lori what shit mother she is, she should double over in pain and the baby eat his way out of her, kills her, and then of course he will have to kill the baby, end of story. If they ever get Andrea back, she can keep a handle on Carl.

Carl has become a brat and Lori....I will NOT weep when she gets killed off. Shane tried raping her once and IMO,if it had come down to it,would have killed her without a second thought if it meant saving himself and acts outraged at his death?!
