The Walking Dead [merged]

9.2 million viewers!

I figured it would be a bit more especially with the magnitude of the episode. But then again, no one know it would turn out this way!

U got to remember millions on the east coast are still dealing with the aftermath of Sandy. Many still don't have power. But still great numbers.

^Bahahaha, I think you should post that on Yahoo! comments somewhere. =p

The writers aren't desperate to shed characters but they do want to show that nobody is safe in this zombie apocalypse (except maybe Rick). Exiting characters helps build suspense as well. If the core group went merrily on their way and intact, I think viewers would soon lose interest.

Oh, I didn't feel bad when Rick started crying on the ground. I thought "Good grief, he's crying on the ground AGAIN." Remember the scene back at his house in the hospital gown? I did get all ferklempt when he went to Carl with that face. OMG, that sad, anguished face!

I think we all want these people to die. I personally could careless now except for Herschel and Rick. My point was simply the story is changing and I am anxious to see how these characters are going to deal because this isn't even the last episode of 2012.

We still have that cliffhanger episode half way in, and if these deaths are happening now wtf could they do to us at winter break?

I have a theory right now: Part of the cliffhanger will have to do with the "Doctor" and what they are testing on the walkers. I believe that we will learn something new that will change the setting in relation to what we thought we knew about them.

So... does anyone really believe Carol is dead? I don't...

Thank goodness that episode was more calm then the last... And Rick got to go on a killing spree!!

Who was Daryl so soft on that he put the flower on their grave? the T-man? Not like Daryl, lol.

Something is definitely in the drinks. Why was the scientist so opposed to the night's entertainment? More going on there.

"We're teaching them not to be afraid of the biters." Huh?

And when Rick cut into the stomach of that walker, um, I almost thought Lorie had a twin he wanted to kill (but it was a guy).

No one talks about Carol. That's odd, too. Is that what Rick is doing, killing the walkers until he kills Carol??? His "thank you" for helping Lorie?

I think they made a grave for Carol even though her body isn't in there. I think Daryl put the flower on "her" grave. I also don't think she is dead and I think they will wind up naming the baby Sophia and then Carol will show up and the fact that is named Sophia, she will take a motherly role. At least thats what i think.

I also don't think Lori is alive but she is a "walking dead". I think Carl reverted back to him old self a moment and didn't or couldn't go thru with killing his mother so Rick will wind up doing it after he "stumbles" upon her.

Looks like they are trying to follow "the road to woodbury" book some even though Michonne isn't in it. Penny must be his "daughter" and he has been feeding her and they been using the walkers for entertainment.

There was a "C" formed out of rocks on it, so it was for Carol. The flower was one of those Carolina roses from the last season. (or whatever those were called, I forgot and don't feel like looking it up).

I think with the walker Rick killed at the end.. I think that was just a walker that "ate" her body.

Last, I think Rick is just killing for the stress relief. A moment where he just "snapped". I don't think it has to do with Carol at all.

But... we heard the gunshot as Maggie was carrying the baby out of the building. And Rick found the shell near her body, or what was left of it after that walker got to it.

Hm.

True, but we all know Carl can shoot a gun, I didn't say he missed, I just think he shot the gun to make it seemed like he killed and if you noticed, he walked right on out, he didn't come out and fall down crying, he kept it moving. I think if Rick finds her, he can have his say to "it" and apologize and forgive her or whatever while she growls and looks at him like a Rich Sandwich, and then blow her head off. I don't think he will tell Carl or at least the others to save Carl the embarrassment.

^Ugh. That's why watching the Talking Dead aftershow can be informative. The director said the walker had a bloated belly because he ate Lori. What happened to her bones is another question.

Also digging graves only to fill them with dirt? They only have T-dog's body.

And while the Governor is creepy with his walker daughter and zombie fight club, I'm not seeing him as the baddy we thought he'd be. The worse was with the National Guard but since then he's been busy throwing his party and serving refreshing alcoholic beverages!

I have the Talking Dead recorded but haven't watched it yet. I'm shocked they would reveal something like that, lol, they are usually so secretive. I admit I FF thru some of that Rick's killing spree scene so I may have missed some clues. I will catch up on the TD though. I still think there is more to Gov than they have shown. I think eventually something like random killing of people who talk back or maybe taking advange of women, something along those lines. Thanks for the headsup though! I think Chris Hardwich is cute, you would think I would be chomping at the bit to see him on tv, lol.

I enjoyed the episode. Michonne is one bad mutha-shut-yo-mouth.

Can someone post the spoiler for next week in spoiler tags, please? XD

I loved the last episode. I thought Lori should have "aborted mission" when she had those morning after pills. Their lives were just way too unstable to have a baby when they were constantly on the run. I had no idea she was gonna die in childbirth. The new baby is just gonna be a huge burden as precious as she is lol. I felt so bad for Rick when he found out Lori was dead. He needs to get his shit together now that the baby is there though.

Andrea is gonna regret not listening to Michonne. I just started reading the comics and I'm still on the first season stuff but it is twisted of him to have the fighting with the chained up zombies.

What do you think will be the name of the baby?

1) Amy
2) Carol
3) Patricia
4) Sophia
5) Jacqui
6) Lori
7) Other

Post your answer for a chance to see if you are correct when they do name her !!!

The Governor is now basically hte bartender,he needs to get bad in a hurry.
