The Walking Dead [merged]

I loved this weeks episode.. that cat/mouse sequence between Andrea and The Governor was terrifying, epic television. The cast is so brilliant!

Ok, I was cool with not seeing the prison at all this week - I usually dislike Woodbury-focused episodes but this one was different. Cracks are starting to become clear in the town, and the Governor keeps becoming more and more brutal in dealing with everyone. I love Andrea again - I was so happy she finally realised that she was on the wrong side (if only Milton hadn't stopped her from pulling the trigger - he's so annoying). My heart literally feel apart as soon as she was taken down at the end of the episode - I don't see it ending well for her - they better not kill her off. Michonne better save her, with Carol/Beth aiding her. God that would reduce me to tears.

Not here for Sasha and her group. But I think I can see them playing a part in the 'war' - I think they'll help Rick/Prison. Milton will no doubt discover Andrea's location.. he knows she's not at the prison.

Ahhh it's going to be a brutal next few episodes!

Just watched the episode [one day after the US or so lol] and OMG it was GREEEEAAAT! Lots and I mean LOOOOTS of Tension.

Good to see an Andrea driven episode again, and one that's finally settled once and for all which side she's on. Prison for life baby! LOL

Nice to see something of Tyreese etc...although I don't particularly care about them much. I expect Tyreese and Sasha to come out fighting, cuz Ben and his dad have Walker Fodder written ALL over them :p

[oh, and as for the test - I came out as Andrea. OOOOH YEAH!]

The Warehouse scenes were nailbiting - I kept yelling at Andrea though to run for the door and grab the governor's car if she had the chance, but I kept forgetting this was Andrea....not the smartest woman in the bunch Lol XD [I love her she's my favourite character after Glengie so don't get the wrong ideas lol]

Can't wait for next week!!

So I took the 'Which character are you?' quiz here, and I answered them honestly, like, no bullshit. And I got:

I loved the scene between Michonne and Andrea early. It was good to see them again when they were alone, just thought they could have maybe picked something like their lesbian relationship or something.....
^ this

I could picture that scene quickly morphing into passionate kissing and then quickly into a steamy 69. One way to stay warm.

OH MY FUCK...after tonights episode i may need xanax....wtf....best drama.....EVER

I think this post would be a perfect opportunity to debut my new (edited) emoticon.

My problem tonight and last week was what the writers did to Rick. I don't beleive for a second he would even consider handing over Michonne. I also don't beleive he is at all naive about the Governor's actual intentions. Of course...I will overlook it and try to pretend it didn't happen. I think the point was to sacrifice Rick so Meryl would shine a bit and have his moment.

I hope they pull off a killer season ending because the previews didn't look so hot.

100% agree - turning over an innocent person is not in his character - being so stupid as to believe that would be the end of it is crazy as well

that said ......

i have to admit that after the episode where merle shared how his father treated he and daryl ...... i've sorta softened on him despite his history - to his credit as an actor

the scene with merle/daryl at the end was terrific - for a minute i thought zombie merle would "recognize" his brother

those eyes !!!

michonne working on merle in the car was awesome

good episode

hope the finale is up to standards

getting so tired of the guvnor - he sucks

liked rick's "i'm not your guvnor" line

I'm still betting that Carl will kill the guvnor finding a nick in his hellish armor as he remembers his little zombie daughter that no one else can breach.

I don't think so. I think there are far too many people that have personal vendettas against him. Andrea, Michonne, Rick, Daryl, Maggie, Glen...

Is it bad that a little part of me thinks that Michonne should not only get to kill him, but should cut off his arms and jaw and make him a pet?

Indeed, there a lot of people gunning for the guv.

actually I hope Glenn or Maggie kills of the Governor. Preferably Glenn.
I was pretty pissed Merle wasn't able to kill him off, even tho from a series pov it made perfect sense ofcourse. The confrontation between Merle and Daryl at the end was heartwrenching - perhaps Daryl can talk to Andrea about dealing with sibling-walker deaths.

I'm actually also a little disappointed that Merle was turned - At the very end he became a complex character and I think they could've gotten a lot more out of him if he was kept on. Sure, Rick's team didn't trust him but I the worst he'd do was run off probably - he wouldn't kill anyone of them unless he was pissed off. Daryl's presence made sure of that. Plus there'd be the endless Rick vs Merle tension - cop vs redneck !

Oh well.... can't wait til next week and at the same time I don't want it to end yet. Wonder how long we'll have to wait until season 4 ?

Pretty much everyone has a reason to kill him:

Michonne because she just doesn't like him.
Beth cuz he called her a bad singer.

Glenn because he almost raped Maggie.
Daryl cuz he killed Merle, although he may not know it.
Rick cuz it's a good fit as the main protagonist vs. antagonist.

phantas - the new season always airs in october, around mid to late october, i guess to fit with the holloween theme? lol

As much as I hate to say it, I think Andrea will be the one to kill the Governor, and I'm still not even sold like most that he will die on Sunday. I'd put the odds at:
Andrea-40%
Daryl-30%
Michonne-20%
Rick-10%
I'd like to see Glenn, or Maggie do it, but I'd settle for them just surviving at this point.

I'd be surprised if the Gov is killed off. At least this soon. I think he is going to be in the main cast for awhile. Killing him off would be too predictable, and this show is seldom predictable.
