The whole plucking of eyebrows thing...

I pluck to keep from having the Unibrow.
I'm Puerto Rican and apparently it is very popular in PR for men to pluck. But I wouldn't say its everybody!

Some men (straight or gay) just don't know when to stop and they end up looking like Marlene Dietrich!
 
I actually pay someone to wax and pluck mine for me. She is instructed to make sure they remain masculine and not look like a drag queen! I have actually had them tinted because they are so blonde that they disappear. It is amazing how much of an impact on your eyes when your brows are shaped properly!!
 
I've never plucked my eyebrows, but my barber does trim them every three weeks when I get my hair cut. I'm sorta like gmoney--- except my brows would be even worse than his--- does anyone remember John L. Lewis, once President of the United Mine Workers?

Guys with plucked eyebrows look like drag queens without makeup. I'm all for getting rid of the unibrow and trimming bushy brows, but plucked pencil-thin eyebrows just don't look good to me.
 
I don't "pluck" them.. But I do rid of the ones that try to create the Monobrow!
 
I pluck because

well I enjoy it.

it's a wonderful obessive past time, with lots of perks and no down sides.

I recently tried just trimming mine with small scisors from advice on another site... it made such a huge difference... they still look complely normal, but much neater looking.
 
This is my choice:

I don’t pluck my eyebrows, but I KNOW both gay and straight men do it.
 
No I don't touch mine, they seem to behave themselves without attention, then again the only time I look in a mirror is when I am shaving & then I don't look at my eyes, hell I may be looking out of a shrubbery for all I know!
 
Christopherb: Ohhhh how cute ! I love when people have really blonde eyebrows ! (Yes, I'm obsessed with blonde, what can I do ?? ;))

I don't do anything with my eyebrows cos they're small and don't connect, they look like Elvin's....Luckily ! Cos if they were wild'n'bushy or (like most guys naturally) conected, I'd co craaaaaaazy...

But I agree, there's a point up to where the eyebrows can be plucked/tweaked/waxed/trimmed/shaved/whatever before they start looking like drag-queen eyebrows. If guys (straight or gay, I've met both) wanna do something with their eyebrows,they should really take care that it looks natural ! Not like Jesse Metcalfe's...;)
 
:D :=D: THA : Hahahahahahaha ! I'm with you ! Way to go to all fitness freaks ! Ok, I'm not a fitness freak like YOU, but I'm all into healhy living and fitness and looking good. I was a fat guy a couple of years ago so...eventually I kinda HAD to start going into fitness if I ever wanted to feel good or look good and get some attention !;)
 
THA : I don't know if I count as a "pretty boy", but hey I'm trying ! ;)

BUT, I don't think that whole brain transplanting thing is gonna work : you see, you could perhaps clone yourself a body, but brain cells are not renewable . Eventually ya brain is gonna be that of a 2-year old....because the brain cells don't regenerate like e.g. skin cells, you (or me, or anybody else for that matter !) will just get Alzheimer in a 18-year-old's body ! Ohhhh shit, I don't wanna think of that ;)

I myself am too the kinda guy that hopes to live forever but so far I don't have many hopes...;)

Anyway, 'till then..who knows ? Just keep up the work !
 
I've scarcely thought about it.
Live in Bakersfield which can be quite anti-Hollywood.
 
The only place I pluck is between my eyebrows so I don't have the unibrow going on. I also trim any stray hairs that long. My straight male friends do the same thing.

Guys who pluck their eyebrows to shape them (Lance Bass) look much too fem and that's a big turn-off to me.
