Yes, there is a God, but he lives incognito in a modest apartment in Heaven with his pet chihuahua named Chairman Mao.

It seems he got tired of standing in the heavenly throne room being worshipped for all eternity by all the saints and angels and archangels and all the company of heaven. So he got John Calvin to step in his place “just for a moment.” But God left and poor John Calvin has been stuck in that throne room for centuries.

Christians are evil people. The worship of evil Gods like Yahweh/Allah/Typhon/Set and his evil incarnate Devil son Jesus makes people evil. You can't worship a god like Yahweh that commands and causes racial genocides of entire peoples like the Amalekites, Midianites etc except for the young virgin girls who were taken as sex slaves, who demands the death of LGBT people, witches, disbelievers, apostates, heretics etc and who allows slavery and sex slavery of women and girls and be a good person. The reason Christians act like extremists is the same reason why Muslims do because that is what Jesus and Allah command. It is the same reason Aztecs ripped the hearts out of victims because Huitzilpoctli commanded them to do so.

I mean hell it is a red flag in your faith that you have a sole triune male god, all male angels and with women only being created in this world to serve man. Hell even patriarchal Greece had powerful Goddesses. Your entire pantheon is a sausage fest. Honestly with how woman hating and how your god and angels are such a sausage fest you would expect them not to be so anti gay and not to be literally the religion of homophobia and transphobia.

Your belief in evil relgions and people is strong and inflexible and similar to the religious fundamentalists; everyone is evil that does not strictly follow the scripture as it was written in ancient times; which is impossible to stick to in the 21st century, without a leader who ministers ancient dogma to a community. Human beings are wired to be tribal; people will be a part of community, even they don't agree, understand, or believe in whatever the majority believes. In Germany, between 1925 and 1945 ot every member of the Nazi Party believed in the message or its Leader.

In closing, fundamentalists are usually poor; their government failed that population. They want to be orthodox because, if they can't have, they can go back to a time when life was simpler and everyone had nothing.
