The Worst U.S. President of all Time?

three presidents come to mind - the current one who merely sent troops to where daddy couldn't. Eisenhower for his launching of the interstate system very poorly planned. and Reagan for his act of firing the air traffic controllers - since then unions have lost power and it HAS filtered to non union operations, with lower wages overall.

it must be Washington.

If it were not for him you would still be a British commonwealth country. and drive on the correct side of the road.

OK...so I will run and hide as I am sure people will disagree...

I love this post!

Too bad my knowledge of past presidents isn't very good. I agree, history will be the judge of dubya. But I don't think history will look kindly upon our current idiot. We'll see. People do tend to like reagan despite the huge debt he accumulated. So maybe I'll be wrong.

I too agree it's washington...but only because after we took our independence we didn't immediately build an armada and invade england...another lost opportunity! y'all could be as fat as us right now...

Wow, DA, you must be bored...

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned William Henry Harrison. The man caught pneumonia three weeks into his presidency and died of pnemonia less than a month into his term.

I would probably add James A. Garfield to that list. He was assassinated just months after his inauguration, but he had already managed to prove himself corrupt. IIRC, he was assassinated by a disgruntled supporter who was turned down for a government job.

Do you know me too well? I'm bored, come have some tea with me as we bash GWB and WHH. Scholarly cunts, er bitches, we are!
Honey, I could find fault with just about anyone who's lived in the White House...

I would like some tea, though.
