the worst way to die - burn alive ?

This is such a horror story they keep playing over and over on TV--how does a car burst into flames? Fucked up.

Yes, it's the worst way to die, but being set on fire is worse, they prolly died of smoke inhalation mostly.

I wonder what would cause such a rapid, intense fire? It seemed to start in the passenger area rather than the engine. The interior of the limousine must have been highly flammable. It's a horrible, tragic story.

Actually the worst way might be that two brothers got killed by sticks and metal bars in Pakistan.
I still can't believe the killings happened. Has justice been done yet for the two brothers ?

The worst way to die is probably vivisepulture, aka being buried alive.

That looked horrible, 9 dead was it? Awful. Worst way to die though? Don't think so, the Iron Maiden [without spikes] would be a much worse way to go.

death is not essentially pain , it is the absolute end of pain . The only act of kindness , the end to all suffering , many people have .

Machines of Malice (it might be on Youtube) had some horrible methods in which people were killed.

Placed inside a bronze bull and the statue is then heated. That was pretty bad

Brazen Bull

What a horrible way to die :(
Sometimes some of them suffer from 4th degree burns but survives for a few weeks then dies off. I'd say those suffer the most.

This fire - and the fear of being forced into water by a bad driver - are why I will not have electric windows in my cars.

This has to be one of the most terrifying ways to die.

I don't know how quickly the body goes into shock from being burned, but it may be rather quickly.

Possibly a worse way to die: think about being tied down, and being eaten by ants. It would feel much like you're on fire, but it would last for hours.

Flesh-eating bacteria??

Also, I've heard of gruesome methods where somebody's skin is entirely pulled off while alive, and it takes a while to die.

Best way to die? Guillotine, or jumping off something impossibly tall.

Not something I plan to ever do. I'll stick around as many years as I can, and I have a strong sense of purpose.

I've always thought that the worst way to die would be from cancer. I've had family die from cancer and I would NEVER wish cancer on anybody, not even my worst enemy.

I think a few years back they did a poll and burning to death and being eaten alive tied for the most feared way to die.

Reminds me

There were once these two weird people. One had a desire to eat people the other had a desire to be killed by being eaten. They actually met up and the one guy cut himself in the other guy's bathtub. The other guy ate him.

In the documentary, the guy who him was caught by the police for other reason. He was guilty of bank fraud and they broke into his house with a warrant to arrest him, and found a dead man's body in the bathtub, with nothing but the head attached to a spine. The guy who ate him was passed out next to him, ill from eating so much raw human eat.

According to the documentary, the guy being eaten was alive for a long time while being eaten, but was constantly slipping into a state of consciousness and then unconsciousness as he was being eaten, due to the blood loss being too heavy. But all the chat history they uncovered actually did reveal that he willingly wanted to be eaten.

The two had planned his being eaten for years before they actually met up and did it. They had gone through all the details and everything. When the murderer/guy eater recalled the event, he could remember his partner getting up and smiling while he was being eaten. He was constantly turning on and off.

I don't know what's scarier - being cannibalized by another person, or cannibalizing another person's entire body and leaving just the head. But that documentary was scary!

There was also this other documentary where they showed ancient methods of torture and this was basically this

Scaphism, also known as the boats, was an ancient Persian method of execution designed to inflict torturous death. The name comes from the Greek word σκάφη, skaphe, meaning "anything scooped (or hollowed) out".
The intended victim was stripped naked and then firmly fastened within the interior spaces of two narrow rowing boats (or hollowed-out tree trunks) joined together one on top of the other with the head, hands and feet protruding. The condemned was forced to ingest milk and honey to the point of developing severe bowel movement and diarrhoea, and more honey would be rubbed on his body to attract insects to the exposed appendages. He would then be left to float on a stagnant pond or be exposed to the sun. The defenceless individual's faeces accumulated within the container, attracting more insects, which would eat and breed within his exposed flesh, which—pursuant to interruption of the blood supply by burrowing insects—became increasingly gangrenous. The feeding would be repeated each day in some cases to prolong the torture, so that dehydration or starvation did not kill him. Death, when it eventually occurred, was probably due to a combination of dehydration, starvation and septic shock. Delirium would typically set in after a few days.
In other recorded versions, the insects did not eat the person; biting and stinging insects such as wasps, which were attracted by honey on the body, acted as the torture.

^Scary!!!
