I don't like the new X Factor - such a rip-off of BGT. It really doesn't suit the style of the show. IMO.

Also, when they stand up there and act like Danyl and Jamie they look arrogant and it makes me dislike them - they're acting like Robbie Williams already and they're not even famous yet!
 
Yeh I hate the new format. The backing music makes it harder to assess whether they're actually a good singer or not and the audience means the judges play up to their reactions which is bollocks.

And that Danyl guy was an arse.
 
Well, I think it's easier to sing in tune with a backing track - the whole point of the old auditions was so that they would be at their weakest at the beginning and get stronger throughout the competition.
Stacey is really the only one I've seen who I (sort of) like.
 
I like the two females shown in these videos but the two man seem overly confident and they just really annoy me for some reason... if they had done that the old audition way they would have been told to turn it down a little bit. It just annoys me, that's all.

Stacey is my favourite; there's something really quite soulful about her voice.
 
3 weeks into the auditions and so many good people.

Is anyone else bored of Xfactor? They tried to spice it up with the new format but it seems to have backfired. I think its really boring and Danni annoys me when shes like "you are a bit pitchy". I mean shes made 1 or 2 good songs but shes in no position to be judging other peoples singing ability. Replace her with Kylie and I would watch until my eyes turned square.

Also cheryl looks ALOT better now, her face seems to have filled out. Last series when she picked up alex's arm and her ribs were showing it was bad. Shes still thin, just looks more youthful now.

I really dislike the new format. And Danni is seriously a useless judge with no personality.

Cheryl is my favourite judge - she's funny and she has a compassionate side. Lover her. And yes, she is looking better these days.
 
You know what I think it is, even the aduition is so manufactured now its hard to take it seriously. They try to make it seem like these people just walked in off of the street, but really they have already been through several pre-auditions being told they are amazing each round. Thats why they dont understand when they tell them they cant sing. They know when someone is going to be good and know when someone is there for the comedy factor. Its like when the person sings a song really badly, then they say stop and sing another one and they are amazing. Its just to false now for me.

Yeah he was really good. The only guy I like so far in this years competition. Still not better than Stacey though...
