The year 2020. Will it be special?

I grew up with Barbara Walters saying "This is 2020" because she co-hosted the show 20/20

Do you think there will be something special about 2020?

I like the play on numbers that people can do with 2020. For example, Cythnia (The Real Housewives of Atlanta) is getting married on Oct 10, 2020 = 10+10 = 20 which is 2020

For those of use at a certain age (Im 55) did you ever think you would reach 2020?

What are your feelings about the year 2020? Will it be special. Im hoping it will be
 
The year 2020 will be like any other year.


Everyone is joining the gym and going on a diet and other people blame their problems on 2019 and think its going to go away in 2020.

At a hospital gift shop in West Philadelphia yesterday, I overheard a fragment of conversation. Both a man and a woman agreed that 2019 had not been a good year for them, and they were glad to see it end. The man said that 2020 would likely be better, since it is an even year and even years are better

Although I would like this to be true, I'd never heard that before.
 
I think that 2020 will be an interesting year. For one thing, because there will be a presidential election in 2020.
 
The TIME Mag cover has been quite "obvious" for some time now...

I don't think I ever really thought of it, although I probably assumed that 2020 would have fallen in my natural lifespan.

What has hit me with 2020, though, is the thought that 2000, which seemed like a big deal (the whole 19xx to 20xx transition in years, plus Y2K computer issues), will be more than 20 years ago as of 1/1/2021.
