I usually wear undies under the longundies. It helps with moisture control.

Long Underwear on a guy with nothing underneath is soooo sexy. :luv:

It reminds me of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. All in their one piece long underwear in one scene. I should've known I was gay when that mesmerized me as a kid!!!
 
I tend to wear briefs under long underwear (on the rare ocassion that I wear long underwear) as they don't offer enough support, but it seems like most guys wear them without.
 
Just wear what is comfortable for you. I don't think you need to worry about the fashion police or the Queer Eye guys coming to get you in this case.
