My favorite new show of this season is gone, Journeyman. This was such a good show - original, intelligent, thoughtful and very entertaining.

I just don't get why people watch all this reality garbage but don't watch really good shows.

I am going to miss Journeyman so much.

I read that, too. Don't remember where, but the show is over. I had started to really enjoy it.

I haven't seen Journeyman, so I don't know how good/bad it is, but do petitions for shows really work? I vaguely remember when Arrested Development was getting pulled and they managed to get another few episodes before it was gone for good, but for other shows like Wonderfalls, nothing came of it.

It had questionable renewals for 2 seasons but it was pulled more by critical acclaim than fan attempts.

Now Jericho is a story of a purely fanbased revival.

I thought it was a great show, and seemed like the perfect show to follow Heroes.

I'll miss it a lot. At least it got to tie up the lose ends.

that really sucks cause I was really starting to enjoy it...it was a bit slow at the beginning...but it really started to pick up....it was a different show...it wasn't all about confusing storylines and cliffhangers and shit....it had a good chemistry between all the characters and there were continuing things that you wanted to know but it wasn't confusing...ya know....lol

I remember when they pulled SpyGroove off MTV... which was an awesome show... smart,sleek,fun....

For what?... Undressed and Spyder Games... 2 crappy T.V. shows with horrid acting and terrible scripts...

I liked Kevin McKidd in HBO's Rome, too. And let's face it, he's cute as hell!

It didn't deserve to put in a 10 pm timeslot, it was 8 pm material and was family friendly. NBC let the deadline expire for ordering new epis so with the last 2 before Christmas, it's done. Sadly it was losing a large amount of Heroes audience and apparently tweaking the schedule with the strike wasn't an option.

They gave it the best shot they possibly could...putting it after Heroes and it's built-in large audience of sci-fi fans. If it couldn't bring in ratings there, it probably wouldn't have succeeded at any time.

I have a feeling that once the strike ends and new shows return (namely, new Heroes episodes), they may try moving Bionic Woman to that timeslot. That show has enough of a following for NBC to give it another chance and it fits in even better following Heroes than Journeyman did.

I wish Alias had lasted longer then 5 seasons but the ending was good anyway.

Alias totally lost me when Syd woke up years in the future... I just didn't get beack into it right away and then I couldn't get back... J. J. can't seem to keep the content up into the third season as far as I'm concerned

Bionic Woman, so far, hasn't been renewed for the entire season, yet. I think they've run all the new episodes they have, or maybe there is one or two left.

Yes, they've aired all of the episodes that had been produced before the strike. I believe NBC had ordered 13...only 8 were made. But, NBC apparently issued a statement that the show would go back into production after the strike. I don't know how true that it, but of all of the new shows the network aired this year, it has the best chance of getting picked back up post-strike.

i remember back in 2005 when they canceled AMERICAN DREAMS and their petition got about 5,000 signatures and they were only supposed to get 100 so they could renew. but unfortunately the show got canceled anyway.

I was pissed when i heard they cancelled this show :grrr:....

they cancelled the dresden files?

damn. i liked that show.

and is it odd that i still miss everwood?

Some senior exec at NBC must love Bionic Woman, the fact that its ratings are down more than 50% from its debut would be the kiss of death for any other new series.
