They always cancel the good shows.

Some senior exec at NBC must love Bionic Woman, the fact that its ratings are down more than 50% from its debut would be the kiss of death for any other new series.

It's probably more a case of them favoring it over all of the other new shows that never had the ratings to begin with. It's not a huge hit, but it's the only new show they have with any potential. At the very least, they probably think a timeslot change could help it.

Crap. I only watched the first episode, but I have the rest of the season on my Tivo. Now I'm very unmotivated to watch it. :(

Are you talking about Journeyman?

if that's the case you might want to hold on to it and watch it sometimes. You do get a decent resolution in the end. Sort of look at it as a mini-series.

With the dearth of new original programming because of the writer's strike, it's going to be difficult to find much to watch aside from reality shows. And you can only watch Survivor & American Idol so many times.

never got a chance to watch "Journeyman" at all...man i hate being out of the states so much. :(

I was pissed when they canceled Carnivale. I thought the show really picked up in the second season, kindof like Lost did with it's third season (somewhat). Except Carnivale actually answered the questions they kept posing.

The 4400 was better in it's first 2 seasons, but the season finale was a good stopping point for the show anyway. It had become a wholly different story by this point.

Alias was awesome the first two seasons. I thought the last 3 were a slow, spiral decline.

Angel is another show that was cool, and getting a lot better, that got canceled.

All in all, the good shows get canceled too early.

WowWWW??? they cancelled Journeyman??? that was me and my bf's favorite new show :( I agree they always cancel the good shows and keep the crappy ones on. sigh.

I haven't seen Journeyman, so I don't know how good/bad it is, but do petitions for shows really work? I vaguely remember when Arrested Development was getting pulled and they managed to get another few episodes before it was gone for good, but for other shows like Wonderfalls, nothing came of it.

i read on rottentomatoes that there is almost definitely going to be an arrested development movie, how awesome would that be now that it might actually catch on with more than a cult following with michael cera's (and to a lesser degree jason bateman's) recent commercial success? (!)

My favorite new show of this season is gone, Journeyman. This was such a good show - original, intelligent, thoughtful and very entertaining.

I just don't get why people watch all this reality garbage but don't watch really good shows.

I am going to miss Journeyman so much.

Never could get into that show tried watching it a few times but always fell asleep.

I miss Boston Public and American President with Geena Davis.

Both great shows that were cancelled. The son who played on American President was very HOT!!

All the shows I like get cancelled and the shows I hate remain on the air.

I'm so sick of reality shows..The networks need to bring back the sitcoms and Drama's.

I still remember when there were good television shows on Saturday Night. I'd even be happy if they moved a show to Saturday night instead of cancelling it outright.
