Future Pagefucker Gains Late Wonkette Endorsement

According to a post deleted from MyDD and then reposted on BlogActive, this gentleman, a Republican congressional candidate from Nebraska, is secretly homosexual. The list of straight male Republicans currently stands at:

Don Sherwood
John Sweeney

I heard about this guy.... (Then MyDD deleted the post)

So, will Adrian Smith be the 110th Congress' first exposed hypocrite? I'm not sure. I do know that his campaign manager Dan Huber at first thought my call was a prank. When I told him who I was and asked him if Adrian Smith had sex with men, he was not too keen on answering. When I told him I was recording the call (completely legal when calling from DC to Nebraska), he did what most people do when they don't want to answer questions from blogACTIVE, he hung up the phone.

Click here to listen to Adrian Smith's campaign manager refuse to answer, on the record, whether or not Mr. Smith has sex with men.
I have heard a number of things about Smith and he certainly has been on my gayd -- er, um, radar. Last night when I saw this extensive post at MyDD (a political site), I made a copy. Why a site would remove a post like this I don't know. I thought it interesting enough, however, to begin to look at Mr. Smith and to post a copy of the original, removed, post here:

(Note: Folks here know I am not what one would call a fan of MyDD's Jerome Armstrong. After all, he's a stock pumper who schemed to dupe average folks out of their savings. This removed post was not written by Armstrong, it was put up by a MyDD blogger who uses the handle 'Historychick.')

So should I tell my good friend Mike Rogers that you'll be his primary liason on JUB now, James? ;)

Why do people feel its their business to out people? Apparently you're not allowed to have your own opinions. "OMG he's a hypocrite because's a homo and votes against gay marriage." So? His personal life isn't my business. It seems as if suddenly this is all surfacing now JUST because of election day. Funny. Why couldn't they have outted them before hand?

On the flipside, he's kind hot. lol Kind don't mind him being outted now LOL

it is his private life but the problem with conservative republican homos is that they support an agenda that's contrary to who they are so they're hypocrites...i'm biracial ok? it would be like if i was white enough (which i'm not) to pass for white, then joining the KKK.

OMG, don't compare the struggle against homophobia to the struggle against racism, James. I mean gay people have never had to deal w/much of any discrimination at all... it's all nothing but us rich, white, drama queens whining about 'marriage this', 'marriage that' so we can all vacation in the Hamptons and not have to worry that we won't inherit each other's trust funds when we find a cuter guy to shag, but still not give up the gravy train. DON'T YOU DARE EVEN INSIST THERE'S ANYTHING MORE TO IT!!! Even you being a half black, bisexual guy... you're not allowed to do that.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

And remember, first it's probably not true, then it was just "It's a stupid trend", and now it's that "Why do you feel the need to out those who 'don't agree w/us' "? Consistent much? LOL...

Being in the closet is a choice that adversely affects people besides the closeted gay -- and this is especially true of elected officials because they write and/or vote on legislation and have access to microphones and airtime. I've never heard of a single closeted gay elected official who supported gay equality, and after they're outed they do.

Being in the closet isn't a benign choice, it's one that has ramifications. I think whenever we make choices that harms others then those others have a right, and even a responsibility, to speak out.

His personal life isn't my business.
Being closested, and the ramifications of it, reach beyond one's personal life. This is nowhere more true than with elected officials and authority figures like church leaders and scout leaders, coaches, etc. When a personal decision impacts a group of people then it becomes our business.

It's his right to believe what he wants to. He doesn't HAVE to support the "gay agenda' just because he's gay. That's absurd.

And why he is a hypocrite again, just because he is a Republican does not means that he could not has his own views and ideas?

Maybe he could defend our cause if he gets elected.

numerobis, he's a hypocrite because he's going around saying gays are inferior because they shouldn't have the same rights everyone else does while he's sucking dick in secret...you republican types just don't understand the meaning of hypocrisy do you? so sad.

Oh, thanks for the "compliment" but I am not even a US citizen.

I was just looking for evidence of his anti-gay propaganda, have you actually heard him lecturing against gay’s rights; or did you assume the formula

Politician + republican = antigay asshole ;)

Well I did my level best by voting against the Homosexual Agenda today, well at least the Gay Republican Homosexual Agenda:

Love it or hate it, I don't give a shit.

They may as well be Jews for Hitler!

But hey, that's just my humble opinion. Humble as it may be. #-o

Locusts???
They look more like cock-a-roaches - when you turn the lights on...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They say - "Tsk, tsk, 'Out'ing is naughty!!!"

Not when the person being 'Out'ed is another Closet Queen Republican politician.

By day, this LOW-LIFE SCUMBAG is another Anti-Gay Republican and an active and vocal supporter of the Krazy Khristian Koalition's Anti-Gay Agenda.

By night, he sucks cock.

If he wants sympathy, he should look in the dictionary between Shit and Syphilis...

you're not a citizen so i won't hold your ignorance against you but that's pretty much the math...this works too. pol + republican = hypocrite
pol + republican + christian = pedophile

This thread has some pretty strong stereotypical hate. Fairly amusing coming from a group of opressed people. Just an observation. I don't suppose anyone could ever figure out a way to be bigger than the bigotry and hatred that is around you or projected at you?

No

Didn't think so.

I agree that everything from the sex you have had to the stature of your family is now considered fair play. By those rules ANY politician should know their dirty laundry will be strewn across the street.

I still fail to see the connection between hiding your sexuality in office and the effect on my personal well being and pride. If we hadn't gone all queenie and demanding in 98 and 99 we would probably have civil union in most states and could ramp into marriage over time. Instead we handed the political right a huge (now 8 year) strong campaign issue they could drive for jobs.

Neither side will allow the truth get in the way of garnering a job in the public eye. Washington D.C. was built on a swamp and we haven't gotten it any cleaner since it was built.

Unfortunately, the only thing more Dems in office will mean is more scandals but the name will have a (D) following due to shear numbers.

Not queenie at all and no proof to be given. Feel free to prove it wouldn't work and you will have the same amount of facts to work with, 0.

The fervor made America decide. They decided almost 70 percent in favor of marriage as set supposedly by gods teachings. Instead of attacking something sacred to so many we should have went after a piece (as in Unions) to have running proof that nothing would come of the situation but equality.

Do I agree thats how the world should be; absolutely not. Would it have worked; maybe. Definately wouldn't have polarized the issue so solidly across the lines.

Look at all the other civil rights issues.
Minorities and Women have slowly made gains through the years. The rabid and sometimes violent stance most have taken in those issues polarized the sides and extended reaching true equality by decades. Decades still to come. Both of those fights still have a long way to go. Anger and fear doesn't bring about change and radical approaches develope both of those emotions.

There has been announcement that Charlie Crist has been called to be the new governor-elect of Florida!

According to my tea leaves, I have a feeling that he won't be governor for long.

To think both this guy, and Charlie Crist were elected last night, leaving more hypocrites in the GOP closet to replace the ones they lost. I'm sure my good friend Mike Rogers will be on top of that. ;)

BTW, I didn't care for the 'future page fucker' labeling of this... has there been any evidence of that? He's a hypocrite for sure if he votes for anti-gay legislation, but until there's any evidence I don't care for some of these allegations.
