Funny thing is, I've always heard it as THIGAMAJIG but people spell it THINGAMAJIG.

When my family moved in '96, we didn't have much time to pack, so my boxes were all kinda random. Several of them are labeled with words like "thingamabobs," "whatchamajiggers," and "whoosamawhatsits."

Oops. I checked the box, and it's actually spelled "hoojamawhatsits."
