I'm getting hairier as the days go by, and although I like body hair, I just don't like how thick, long, and dark it is. Are there any treatments out there to thin out body hair?

The first thing you want to do is know why, at 25, you are developing thicker and more body hair. This might be normal for you and your genetic makeup. It could also be a sign a something amiss with a gland or hormones. Rather than worrying about thinning it out, I'd be a lot more comfortable if you made an appointment with your doctor for an evaluation.

Given the results of your visit, your doctor can advise you on save and assured methods of thinning it.

Good luck! Let us know what you find out.

If it's too long, you can shorten it by using hair clippers with a comb attachment so that you leave half an inch of so of length. If you wax it, it will grow back thinner at first.

Sorry, I'm actually 19, so this is natural :P

I usually trim it but I'm more worried about a few years in the future when it's a lot thicker like my brother and fathers. It will be a lot more noticeable that I'm trimming it and I want it to look natural. I was hoping there was some hair inhibitor cream or something that would strip away the hair and make it grow back finer.

Although I love my men hairy*|*, I just don't like it on myself as much.!oops!

Bears and cubs are dear to a lot of us.
It may be nothing to worry about, except that you
apparently do not like the appearance, but when
someone comes and along and swoons like I would
you may change your mind.

You can trim, wax or shave it or just leave it alone. In the end, you'll probably be happier if you just come to accept it as something you can't really change.
