Thinking about restoring my foreskin

If that is the same thingy panda29 has in his gallery: No, it doesn´t. It just looks like a flap of skin to me...with a scar up front. As if someone bit the rest of it of.

Wouldn´t touch you with something like that, but suum cuique
wow @ your disrespect.

btw, here is a restored foreskin that looks identical to the real thing:

wow @ your disrespect.

Why do Americans always confuse the principle of honest opinion with disrespect? You always talk crap to people to be all nice and "respectfull" and start your real opinion as soon as they turn their back on you? That would be unrespectful.

To your "looks identical"-picture

No it doesn´t, because this is a flap of skin covering the head of a penis. A foreskin is a bit more complex structure with a elastic band in the front so this skin is rigid closed while the penis is not erected. This prevents dirt coming in or old urin under the foreskin reacting with oxygen and is quite important.

Your picture shows just extended skin covering most of the penis head, but no foreskin or something that looks like foreskin.

You can keep up your efforts to talk reality into your phantasie, but in the times we life it is not possible to cut something off and restore it completly idetical or functional to the cut off thing.

If you need a picture of my penis with arrows on it to show you the elastic band and how it closes the skin thereby protecting against dirt and reaction, tell me.

My point is: Do it if u want.

But don´t get irritated by the term "restoring foreskin". It is not a foreskin, therefor not functioning as one. In opposition to a real foreskin, this procedure will provide you with something that protects the head of the penis (thereby probably increasing sensitivity) but also catches a lot of dirt. The full protective nature of a foreskin is not there, especialy in terms of hygiene. Keep that in mind.

And when people post that this procedure restores a foreskin or at least gives you the look of a foreskin, I will point out that it doesn´t. Simple, logical and clinical. Not only for you but also for other people with your wish that may read this thread later.

I hope thats okay for you since this subforum is about health and wellbeing.

At the end of the day, a penis is a penis. And whoever you will choose to partner with, will like your penis no matter what.

P.s this is the first time I have ever heard of this restoration thing, haha. But then again, I'm only 18 and still fresh on the market so i don't know anything.

who's American? I'm certainly not. way to make a pathetic assumption.

in regards to the rest of your post, I know exactly what a foreskin is. I happen to have one too.

and no, I sure as hell don't need a picture of yours.

I'm cut, but I don't really like it that much. I'm considering trying to restore my foreskin. I have done some research on this and it seems like it'll be a lot of work. I'm curious if anyone else on here has done it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also, a quick question for all of the uncut guys out there, do you ever notice a time when having a foreskin is a "hinderance"? Like maybe when putting a condom on or something like that.

Thanks, guys!

I did the research and know it will not be the same. However, after my first week of doing it I already have increased sensitivity. My head has been protected by the device (DTR) for a week. When I take a shower now if the little streams of water in a strong shower hit my head directly it hurts. That never happened before. Also, I took the device off for a few minutes and the rubbing on my underwear was so intense that I had to put it back on. I, like most other people did not believe that circumcized men have a loss of sensation. It is true and no uncut male can understand unless they get cut. I hope it looks good when I am complete, but the increased sensation will be worth it. Funny, when I started I only wanted it to look as close to an uncut one as possible. I am pleased with my results so far an you just need to get information an a little less opinion. It takes quite a while to use a streacher like the DTR.

You cannot restore your prepuce; you can only stretch your shaft skin until it takes the role of a neo-prepuce.

But if you were circumcised in the typical "low" American style, then you will never be like an uncircumcised man again.

Typical routine infant circumcision in the U.S uses the gomco and plastibell clamps, and these remove most of the inner preputial linning and the ridged band which lies at the point where the frenulum joins the foreskin.

The only men who can become "uncircumcised" again are those who have what is called a "high" circumcision, where only outer epitelial skin is removed and the inner mucous linning and frenulum are preserved. But this circumcision style is extremely rare and is only done by adult men who undergo circumcision to correct phimosis(minimum circumcision) or for cosmetic reasons.

Both American and Jewish circumcisions are "low", except that American tends to be "loose" whilst Jewish circumcision is "tight" with all the inner mucous linning removed as well as well as a lot of the outer epitelial skin. Muslim circumcisions tend to be higher than American and Jewish circumcisions but fairly loose. But Muslim circumcisions also remove some inner preputial linning, although not as much as American and Jewish circumcisions.

Oh, I forgot to mention to the OP my qualification for the answer. I am a fourth year medical student...
