I'm thinking of visiting Palm Springs at the end of March. What's the weather like at that time of year? Can anyone suggest a good hotel or resort at a reasonable price? I've heard the city is pretty expensive.

Any restaurant suggestions? Things to do? Thanks for any info

The Desert Hills Premium Outlets at Cabazon are a great place to shop. I go there every winter and summer fashion season.

The weather there in march is perfect just as long it's not hit with a rainy week. Like right now it's very nice sunny in the 70s and 80s. Not sure about hotels since I live 40 minutes from there but Cabazon has a really good shopping outlet love going there.

I recommend Wang's for food (Chinese) - and definitely check out the aerial tram! There’s only one option for gay hotels in Palm Springs that is NOT clothing optional. If you’re looking for a classier, more comfortable weekend away with your partner might I recommend East Canyon Hotel + Spa. I represent them, and I also stay with them frequently. From the moment you walk in it’s obvious that the grounds are clean and upscale without being snobby. Instead of a front desk there is a table (when I visited last it had a bowl full of candy canes and chocolate kisses!) and you are given a full tour of the grounds on your first visit. The rooms are impeccably clean, and have all the amenities (fridge, DVD player, robes, lots of towels and pillows). Check them out: (http://www.eastcanyonps.com) and “like” them here on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/East-Canyon-Hotel-Spa/105394832196

I think you'll get better responses if you make your questions less vague.

Accommodations: What type(gay/mixed/straight) and price range.

Restaurants: What type of food, price range

Things to do: Bars, shopping, outdoor activities

I'm blindly going to make some suggestions:

Hi guys- I did some further research and it seems that the Triangle Inn has gotten some good reviews and is inexpensive....as compared to other hotels.

Anyone know anything about this place? Is it mainly older guys? (I'm 33) Is there a better inexpensive gay hotel in Palm Springs?

I also noticed that Dinah Shore weekend is around when I will be visiting. Apparently this is a huge lesbian event. Is this a bad time to visit as a gay man?

Thanks for any info.

Ya, I was kind of vague. I mainly need help on where to stay. I'm looking for a gay hotel or resort that is not over 200 a night (hopefully more like 100 a night) that is not disgusting and not full of dirty old men. It would be nice to find a place that has a good amount of other guests but is not too crowded.

Thanks
