This is why I don't watch Everybody Loves Raymond (I mean aside from its pretentious name and the fact that it's not funny at all). She can't act and she sure as hell cannot rub two brain cells together and come up with a cogent argument.

What makes her think she's in disagreement with Sally Field? I don't understand her reasoning at all.

Edit: Cunt!... Yeah, feels good to say that sometimes.

She's such a fucking tool, and clearly missed the whole point behind Sally Field's comment.

I'll laugh even harder now when her shitty show with Kelsey Grammer flops.

Oh she got Sally's point all right, but she's a gung-ho Republican bitch and she felt she HAD to defend the Evil George Bush and VP Voldemort Cheney, so she opened her fat mouth and out poured her usual right-wing sewage.

A "has-been"? Too early to say. Her new show may be a hit. But it stars her and Kelsey Grammar, and they are both big Republican tools, so even though I LOVE Fred Willard, I will not be watching, just as I never watched EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND.

As for Sally Field's remark that "If Mothers ran the world, there would be no God damned wars", my problem with it is it implies that only mothers love their sons, not fathers, an insult to all fathers everywhere. The fact is that parents running things has never, and will never prevent wars. Queen Boadica was just as warlike as any man.

Now if, in order to wage a war, a country's leaders had to see THEIR kids die first, that would stop wars, but male or female, world leaders will always be willing to sacrifice OTHER people's kids.

But yes, Pat Heaton is a nasty Republican cunt. Absolutely.

I think thats what Sally Field meant by her statement.

And even though Patricia Heaton is a right-wing nutbag, I think she's a hilarious comedic actress. Its always been hard for me to seperate the person from their work, but I'm working on it.
I think her new show with Kelsey Grammer looks funny. He's a republican too, but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying Frasier reruns. I forgot how funny that show was.

:-)

Maybe we should send Pat Heaton out on the frontline then along with all the other right wing nut jobs and their sons and daughters. It's their war afterall, let them fight it. If they believe in the war so much then they should put their money where their mouth is and fight their war for themselves.

I took her statement to mean that she is a mother and as such she believes that there could be a reason to go to war. Many female leaders have sent troops into battles Margret Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth I to name just 2. I think if we were being invaded we should do something instead of just accepting that were women and mothers and dont want are children to get hurt or killed. And before anyone says anything I know we were not being invaded by Iraq. I usually dont agree with her our politics are different but I also dont agree with Sally Fields statements either. She really didnt need to use the word GODDAM in her speech. An award show is not the place for such comments. Not all women are like June Cleaver some are quite RUTHLESS and those are the ones more likely to recieve power.

So someone feels the need to defend Sally by bashing Patricia?!? Pitiful #-o

#1) Nothing wrong with her statement. It's her point of view; don't like it = tough
#2) She is NOT a has been - she is funny & a good actress

I agree CONNERMT I dont get all the bashing. Last I checked its a free country so she is allowed to have her own thoughts on issues( you dont have to agree with her) but this hardly makes her a bad actress and a has been as some would suggest. And no one should ever be called the C-word thats just vulgar. She is very funny and has won 2 emmys herself. Her new shows not too bad. A little early to tell if it will last. But if people want to talk about bitchy behavior I didnt care for the way the actress that plays Izzy from greys anatomy went on and on about how the anouncer got her name wrong. I think everyone there knows her name so it was no big deal. I doubt most people even caught the error until she went nuts and then bringing it up again later when she won her emmy. I just think it was a bit much. Her whole speech just gave me the impression that you would want to get in her way or shed mow you over. Seems like a big BITCH to me. But I do like her role on Greys.
