he's gonna cause traffic chaos and accidents rather than prevent them.

It's a wonder he doesn't cause smash-ups with antics like that.

Edit: Damn! Qixote types faster than I do!

he must be listening to YMCA on his headphone or something....

Either he, or someone very similar was in the news several years back. Guess it keeps the job from becoming to utterly boring. Just hope no pedestrian tries to join in! lol

I think every police department would benefit by having more cops like this guys. There are already too many who have let the power go to their heads. At least this guy let it go to his hips and ass and feet.

:gogirl:

I remember the old television programme 'Candid Camera' filming various traffic cops and then putting them to music. Those were so much fun to watch.

South Florida, huh?

Let him serve a few shifts at the MSP International Airport, he might find something to dance about.

Plus, he would freeze his ass off, for starters.

I want him to handcuff me on a chair, then dance and strip around me :gogirl: \:/ :xmas:

I saw one of those also, and I think the traffic cop was either in Manhattan or Pittsburgh - I often get those two confused.

Haha that was so funny .... what a wally! --%--

I was going to say that...I couldn't read this guy's shoulder patch, but I do distinctly remember that traffic cop from Pittsburgh back in the 80s who wound up on every news show from coast to coast for about a month. This clip would seem to be from the same time period.

He's actually in Providence. I think its cool that he does it, he is retired and he "comes out" once a year to do something special to brighten up the holiday season.
