But I re-read my post (did you?) and realized that a little too much of my motivation for responding is based on my ongoing disgust of internet culture and not the direct implications of what this kid did, so I apologize for that.

Perhaps you are unaware that the people in those vehicles are voting for people who are going to take your "solution" away from fabulously ghetto the first chance they get - they are doing just that right in front of your eyes, do you care at all? Then they're going to come for the rest of us. Protest is called protest for a fucking reason. Just like cowardice and denial.
