Since I was bored tonight I decided to check out some of the things in the My Settings area. Down at the bottom left there was this line that read "View Forum Comments"... so I clicked on it and there were loads of comments from you, my fellow Jubbers!!!!

Now, granted, I'm still somewhat wet behind the ears when it comes to the workings of JUB, but this totally surprised me! What is the proper etiquette here... am I required to acknowledge the comment, or what? I have always noticed the little icon at the bottom of each Jubber's post allowing me or whomever to leave a comment, but never really gave it much thought... kind of like a PM but shorter, faster, and easier! Cool! :)

Man, am I gonna start putting in my 2 cents worth now! :lol:
 
It is a neat little feature, innit?

There is no requirement to respond, but if I feel like responding, I usually just copy and paste the comment into a PM to the user who sent it to talk about it...
 
I love forum comments! I leave quite a few comments. :) Glad you finally found them. It would be great if we could somehow make them REALLY noticeable.

I was actually thinking about starting a thread asking Jubbers what their favorite feature is because I just found the comment not too long ago myself.

One reason for the thread was to give feedback to Seth on what everyone likes (and if there were any suggestions on how to enhance the feature), but the main reason is for me to learn of other features that I have not yet found yet.

Only for the fact someone mentioned the VIEW FORUM COMMENTS did I find it and was also surprised that some people had made comments...very neat feature.
 
Thanks all! Did not know about comments as I am post illiterate. I actually have some comments. People probably think I'm rude for not commenting back.!oops!
 
DAMN! I totally never new about this comment thing... I'm glad someone posted it! I just found out that I have quite a few comments, and they are all pretty recent. I hope no one thinks me a jerk for never responding. I'll get back to you all at some point during the week :D

The comments function is the most underrated function on JUB \o/
 
actually comments are for something where you don't expect a reply. it's just a comment. if you want a reply you should use a PM ;)
 
I just saw that feature too and all the comments that I had got! apologizing to the people who left them i just found out :S
