This man should die!

I didn't say the "United States." Though, I have no problem with us doing it.

As long as Cuba, Burma, North Korea, China, Iran and Syria govts are in power they stands as a testament to the idiocy of the U.N. and the so-called "civilized" world at large.

How many countries do you want us to invade???

Well, Iran used to be a democracy....before the U.S intervened...

It is not a bad idea to place political pressure on a regime bent on destroying its own people and country.

But the originial poster is calling for us to military intervene and kill Mugabe hence the title of this thread "This man should die".

US military intervention is very unlikely in Zimbabwe - unless it turns out they've got lots of Oil.

It is still interesting that what was one of the richest countries in Africa under British colonial rule - has now become one of the poorest under "self government"

See everything turned out for the best in Zimbabwe.

It must have as I have not heard the voices of the Congressional Black Caucus, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson etc and so many others say anything different?

It is to the discredit of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson etc that they don't speak out against the evil regime in Zimbabwe - just as their failure to voice any strong opinion has damaged the credibility of the South African Government.

But descending into tyranny is something that can happen to any nation - it's not just a disease of African nations - the 20th Century history of Germany and Russia shows that even advanced industrialised countries are just as vulnerable.

Often people give up freedom in exchange for more security - hence the rise of the "strong man" leader. As has been said - "those that give up freedom for security neither get nor deserve either".

But this has no racial boundaries - the US citizens that give up their freedoms in exchange for more protection against terrorists become just as vulnerable to tyranny as those in Zimbabwe.
