Riding a Bike or Driving a Car ?
 
Depends. If it's practical and safe, I'd prefer to ride a bike. But if I have to go a good distance or it would be dangerous to ride in the traffic, driving a car would be necessary.

Reading contemporary novels or reading classics?

Japanese or Chinese Food ?
 
I'll say Japanese, if only because Japanese cuisine isn't nearly as common as Chinese cuisine here, so I believe Japanese restaurants strive to make their food more authentic. It seems that there's almost the attitude that anybody can cook Chinese food, so most places don't seem to put in any special effort to make it good.
