But quality is subjective. So who you agree with doesn't mean everybody does. That's obvious around here

I am sorry that some of you have lost members with whom your related well and had continuous contact through threads and messages. The board must seem quite dismal to you now.

But what about us hundreds of other posters who saw those members just as interesting people but with no real firm contact with them. For us it really doesn't make a great difference whether they are here or not.

I am sorry you have lost a close contact who shared JUB with you but must all of the others suffer the complaints and moanings over the downfall of JUB when in fact we are quite happy to carry on with life as usual.

Flipping these sentiments around to the other perspective, it's no comfort to those of us who were friends with these people to have people point out that there's 182,000 members, of which probably 3-4ths have never made a single post, and 9-10ths have never posted outside of the porn forums, and a majority of whom were transient passing-through accounts so they could see the porn.

Simply pointing at the member list as a response to someone saying they're bummed someone active and with a presence left isn't much of a valid response imo. The lionshare of all jub members will never make their presence known at all or make any friends here.
