I must admit that although I am back and still check in, there often seems to be little of interest to me or that piques my curiosity. But that is not to say that I think the site/forums are boring. Personally, I am at an age where the gay community tends to dismiss me as an old man with little redeeming social value... and I get that. To some extent I shared that feeling when I was young and hot back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. It's just that now when I feel I can actually contribute to the gay experience because I HAVE it, most guys here are more interested in the Kar-crashians and music personalities droning on about bitches and guns, lol. Don't think for one minute I am complaining about how things are; I am just pointing a few thoughts of my own on the topic at hand.

One might start a thread about a topic that could take some thought to respond to and find that he gets little response, then see a topic that is rather dumb and see a lot of people respond.

Also I have noticed that some folks are just waiting to criticize, scoff and scorn rather than to contribute.
However it seems to go in cycles, people come and go, some guys go from posters to lurkers and then come back and become more active.

There's something that get people going - I've been to two and they were a blast.

Anyone? Dust? Yes.... no?

I believe Sausy’s New York meet in 2013 was the last one. If not it was the last one I heard about.

Threads about meets seem to die fast these days. I had a thread about a possible meet in Las Vegas in 2016 or 2017 and only Frankfrank showed any interest. Even threads about timely meets seem to go nowhere now. Also JUB doesn’t seem to support meets anymore.
