Ok. I went out for dinner, then on to see Friday the 13th with jav1231 and MidnightPrism. I never have been good at watching these thriller movies. (MP, I owe you one, you little devil!)

So I'm already a little jumpy from the movie and after picking up my car, begin to make my way home.

I'm heading south on the freeway that feeds into one of the major freeways for Atlanta. This one is not well lit. Just as I'm about to merge, out jumps this fucking deer! The truck to my right and slightly ahead of me hits it and knocks it in front of me! I brake hard and fast and swerve just in time to miss, but I think I might have some blood on my car. I saw the truck pull over with one headlight out. This is not something to have happen right after seeing that kind of movie! I think I'll go change my underwear now.
 
Hahaha, oh man. That would've been great to experience in my opinion. Get your adrenaline pumping.

Hahaha, quit spooking yourself. Coincidences likes to always coincidently pops up whenever you least expects it...especially right after a horror movie when you have just left the theater convincing yourself that those events are only "in movies" and not in real life.

at least this time it wasn't a set of living room furniture. lol

I took out 3 of those monsters in 1 incident. Was about midnight on I-94 in rural Minnesota. Just before Christmas. I had only had my car for about 3 months. I know it didn't have 3,000 miles on it. GD things came out of the ditch. Hit the first one in the center of the hood and launched it. The other two hit by the drivers side headlight. The first one fell in front of the car and I drove over the dam thing. It was like this deer fell from the sky.

I took my car into the insurance accident center for the "inspection". This idiot comes out and starts giving me attitude. "that looks like a lot of damage from a deer." I said I hit 3. "I have never heard of 3 at a time. that a bit of a stretch. I'm going to be looking into this." I started pulling fur out of what used to be the hood of my car and showed it to him. I said how the hell would I get fur stuck in the hood of my car you jackass. "oh. I didn't see that. we'll take care of this." complete retard. They fixed my car and I traded it in shortly there after. I was honest with the dealership but since it wasn't over 3,500.00 they didn't have to report it to the person that bought the car. I heard through the grapevine that the person that bought it had a bunch of trouble with the car.

Deer can be a real problem in or out of the city. The need to do a better job of keeping the numbers down. These things are going to happen more often and a lot of people are going to get hurt. Yes, and deer too.

Wow, I am glad you are OK.

That's beats me. Years ago I had moved into a new apartment just two days earlier. We went to see Alien at the theater. Scared the crap out of me and I still had that image of the alien popping out of that guys stomach. I got home to my new apartment still trembling, turned on the lights and 5 or 6 giant cockroaches went scurrying across the carpet. I about shit a brick. The deer is a lot worse though.
 
I'm glad that you are okay.....but are you sure that is deer blood on your car? Perhaps it wasn't a deer that darted in front .... maybe it was J-A-S-O-N! Muuuuuaaaaahhhhaaahhhhhaaa!
