For those in LTR or with BF's what are his funny quirks, that make you laugh and ones that kinda peeve you. my honey's funny ones: 1. he will only eat a burger with top bun on top, 2. only eat a over med egg if runny white he won't touch, 3. will not eat the end pieces of a loaf of bread, 4. has to wipe his fork or spoon b4 beginning to eat anywhere(home or out) 5. he will got through his food to find stuff he don't like and I take them and eat them right away and say how good they are. My Peeve's : 1. he always wants to cuddle in bed even if it's hot and humid 2. picks out food he don't like to toss away , 3. he can get over dramatic if we have a little tiff 4. when he's in a hurry he will not stop saying HURRY UP we are 2 months away from our 29th yr together and would not change a thing, I ,love him so much (*8*)
 
Firstly congratulations on coming up on your 29th year together!

I don't have much to offer as far as quirks since I am not in a ltr and haven't been in one longer than a couple months (and I have only been in one relationship). But honestly other than picking out the food, everything else sounds a lot like me.

My favorite quirks (we have been together 27 years)

I love watching him watch TV....he is very expressive. He likes science and nature shows and oddities like River Monsters and his facial expressions are waaaay better then the show. He holds nothing back.

He perfectly imitates the Charlie Brown dance...and the lollipop guild guys from the Wizard of Oz...just for me

Same thing but different circumstances...he doesn't recognize people we "know" and he doesn't bother to hide it...cracks me up.

When he makes a salad it is fascinating to watch him cut up every little vegetable and neatly arrange it...he really gets into it.

He alphabetizes everything by the first letter of the first name...I thought he was doing it "wrong" but later decided to adopt his method.

He gets a glazed look in his eye and starts massaging me but what he is really looking for are pimples he can pop...he is obsessed with it. He studies every inch of my body searching for "stuff".

He ignores social pleasantries and is always putting his foot in his mouth...I think it is charming.

There are things that annoy me too but the entire time I have known him I have never uttered a bad word or complained about him to anyone else. It is a "thing" with me. I am a ridiculously loyal friend.
 
Congratulations! My partner and I have been together 46 years. About the only thing that annoys me is he is incredibly SLOW getting ready when we have to go somewhere ...............so I always tell him that we have to leave 1/2 hour before we actually do !

Wow, amazing! And I do want a guy who'd want to hold in bed even if it was hot.

And eastofeden, 27 years. Another wow! We all dream of this.
 
This is such a sweet thread to read through. When you truly fall in love with a person you love all their quirks too. :) And one of the great things is discovering them through the process.
