I'm often amazed at some of the retarded questions that get fired at you when you let someone know your sexuality. Well I thought I'd share some of my top favs things I've been asked that make me chuckle...

1. Do you wear make-up? - clearly some people believe we take beauty tips from Boy George! :D

2. Which one is the man and who's the woman in the relationship? - is it worth explaining what versitile means?

3. Does that mean you fancy me? - I love how some people think so highly of themselves.

Please feel free to share your own, especially if it'll make me smile

I was under the impression that the idea was to have two men :P

Talking online to my buddy in the Marines who's currently serving in Iraq for his second tour:

"you an ass man?"

I'm new to coming out so it was definitely awkward, but since he was comfortable asking I know he's gonna be great about my sexuality.

Then of course the infamous "How did you know you were gay?" question. If they take a while to get it I just say "the penis doesn't lie. and my eyes know what they like to look at..." I love being blunt. :D

Yea that old chestnut is a classic. #-o

Too many to count.

One of my fellow employees said this after I told him I was born Catholic: "How did that happen?!".

I've gotten:

1. How did you know you were gay? How old were you?
2. Do you wear female clothing?
3. WHY, though?

I answer bluntly, as well. I always say, 'How did I know I was gay? I like it up the ass!'.

I welcome the stupid questions. The only weapon against ignorance is information.

Or from the redneck "Well don't look at me"

My reply "Don't flatter yourself"

It's funny because when straight guys ask you if you think they're hot, and then you say that they aren't or not your type, then they get offended. LOL.

Reading through this thread I realized that I have not encountered much resistance. I came out in university so that the people I met never knew me as anything but gay. I also came out to my boss during the interview so that there were no problems there.

The only question I get is really a bit insulting. A few people have said, "Really? You're kidding right? But you're so masculine." Even a lot of openminded heteros are under the impression that all gays are feminine.
