I thought I'd create a separate thread, so that people who've already seen it can stop holding it in and talk about what they liked (or didn't like), regardless of which side of the "pond" they happen to be on.

Obviously this thread will (hopefully) be filled with spoilers soon, so tread lightly! Apparently, people want to avoid posting spoilers in the "countdown" thread, so hopefully they'll continue that trend now that they have some place separate to talk about it and throw caution to the wind!

I myself have only gotten 6% of the thing down on my computer, so it'll be a while before I can post that much about it, so I invite anyone who has to spoil on!

I really enjoyed it, Kylie was really good and didn't seem like just stunt casting.

I was surprised at how high the body count was, how the characters were sacrificing themselves left right and centre.

Is it written into Tennant's contract that he has a snog with all his costars?! Can't see Donna putting up with that kind of nonsense somehow!

In the back of my head I was hoping Donna would stumble upon the TARDIS when it was on Earth and somehow end up in the story - guess we'll have to wait until the next series to discover how she meets back up with the Doctor!

OMG. i loved this episode. i loved the special effects of the titanic and how they referenced the previous christmas episodes as well, "The Christmas Invasion" & "The Runaway Bride". Kylie Minouge was really good in it, she is a really, like what a friend of mine says, "Fantastic" actress. even though i dont lke any of her songs or watched her in neighbours , i would watch it again because of kylie's acting. i also was upset wen Astrid died and the Doctor was really upset and was nearly in tears. i would also watch it again because it woz one of the best christmas episodes they have done since the series was revived.

I also liked it wen the Doctor asked the name of the midshipman and he said that his name was Alonso, which was also a reference to the episode "Army of Ghosts" when he says to rose that he should have a companion called Alonso because then he could say Alonsey Alonso everytime, which is wat he does in this christmas episode.

All of the special effects are brilliant. the special effects are really amazing. it is jaw dropping wen u see the outside of the titanic just after the Doctor looks outisde the window and wen the titanic is crashing down towards earth nearly destroying it.

Hope u all enjoyed watching it as much as i did

love u all

Thanks again, guys for limiting the spoilers to this thread. It's very much appreciated!:kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss:

I really enjoyed it but can see why some people have compared it to The Poseidon Adventure. I knew Kylie could act from watching her in Neighbours (although I don't watch it these days). It would've been worse if they'd chosen someone with no previous acting experience.

Btw in case anyone didn't know the guy playing the newspaper vendor in London who was talking about alien invasions was played by Bernard Cribbins who appeared in the Doctor Who movie Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.

Oh my god!

What a christmas special!! I loved it. It was awesome. Way better then the last two. I love it when the doctor gets mad!!

I love the new theme song that will continue on to through Series 4!! Wow....check it out...

Thanks Angelfan and screwnutty for being the latest to limit spoilers to this thread.:kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss: I know dc20willsave and others will certainly appreciate it as much as I do!

Hope you all had a Merry X-Mas and will enjoy the rest of your holidays as well (including you Brits... hope you enjoyed your Boxing Day, which should end for you in about 2 minutes as I type this... ehehehehe).

Has anyone noticed that just before the Episode was released kylie released "2 Hearts" and if I remember the Dr has to hearts. Think about it and look at the lyrics.

But I loved it so much! Bring on the next series

It was (as the 10th doc would say) Brilliant, I was just peed off that the big headed guy didn't die/turn out to be the baddie/lose all his money

Aslo, I don't think we have seen the last of Astrid (this may just be wishful thinking of my behalf)

As for Donna, well it is rumoured that the old man in the stall in London (played by Bernard Cribbins, who was in the Dr Who movies) will turn out to be her Grandad!
This is because the guy who was playing Donna's father recently died before the filming ended

There is also a rumour that Dannii Minouge now might get a part in Torchwood

Oh i liked it! i watched it...um i think it was weds night. i just got back home from my mom's last night so this was the first chance i got to post more than just the hello's and b-day thread. :)

i loved astrid. i hope it's not the last we see of her. maybe she'll help the doc out in some future episode. it was really kinda sad though.

i actually didn't like the new intro though. although maybe it'll grow on me.

Yep. Another case of "If it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it." Frankly, I wish they would go back to the intro introduced at the very end of the 4th Doctor to the first season of the Sixth. One of my favorite versions of the intro music, if not the overall intro itself.
