Hello, JUB.
I'm new here and thought I'd say hello and I'm stoked to join this site. Let's see... I live in NY - Long Island. The city is my backyard so that's rad. I love learning languages -- currently I'm learning Japanese, Korean and Mandarin. I love art -- I'm a graphic designer on the side. It rules, haha.

Such a long and odd story. When I was 11, I was introduced to this Korean pop singer, BoA. I loved her. I thought it was so cool that she sang in Korean, Japanese and Chinese. She is number 1 in Korea, Japan and China. She is SO successful. I wanted to be just like her -- be able to speak so many languages. So I would self practice; from 6th grade onward.. Then come college time, she was making a debut here in the US. Luckily, she was having a TRL appearance! They held a 'Who is BoA's biggest US fan?' contest? Thousands entered and I actually won! December 3, 2008, I got to spend the day with her and I spoke to her in Korean and Japanese. She said I was great and to keep it up. Best day of my life. Haha. I love BoA and she always inspires me. My major in school is Asian languages and international business. I also minor in graphic design. And BoA is the reason for it allllll. :D

That's the REALLY super quick version of the story. :]
