internet music heads know it's the same beat that was originally sold to Chilli from TLC for her song "Straight Jack" but that song was wack...


although not sure if I'm too crazy about this Nicole song, and I'm a BIG fan of hers...that's my b!tch, she is fierce

the beat is hot and would bang in the club but the song as a whole...
something just isn't right...
but I still play it constantly...I dunno why tho, maybe I'll eventually grow to love it? or maybe I'm just trying to promote it to other people [when I play it loud in my car with the windows down, that is]

I havent heard it. We'll see just how her solo career takes off. Why do I have a feeling she'll regret it if she leaves PCD?

Anyway I want Melody and Carmit to make solo cds.

I think Chilli was right to turn that beat down. It sounds generic.

The song sounds like album filler material. It's surprising that she would select that song as a first single.

I'm hoping Melody makes an album also. That girl's voice is fierce and her voice reminds me of X-Tina's high pitched, strong voice.

I think it sounds like another beat that Polow produced, "Blindfold Me" [Kelis]

T.I. almost saves it but its a piece of crap song.

She should do serious songs to compliment her voice.

That's not Melody Thornton that is another singer named simply Melody (www.myspace.com/melodymuzic) The version she has on her myspace right now is'nt the best...I have what I think is a radio edit and it's just a whole lot better than the version she has on her myspace...I have been blasting this song for the past couple of weeks (again the radio edit not the crappy extended mix she has on her page.)

i love the "beep, beep" and always makes me smile the part "wait a minute moderfocker"

She can come hotter, not all the talk-singing or just plain talking. She has a beautiful voice, and she should use it. She seems to be hip-hop obsessed. At least Fergie finally released a song where she actually sings.
 
I don't like it. I can't quite put my finger on why but it's just sort of an annoying song with all the beeping, the sort of talk-whispery vocals, and the somewhat generic beat. I was expecting way better from her.

I agree, Nicole has been impressive ever since her days from that reality TV show girl group "Popsars's Eden Crush." She has a great solo ballad in 2002 called "I'll Be Your Love." She did most of the singing in PCD, and it's she's just as good a the other girls when it comes to dancing. I can't wait for her solo album but I do wish she could stay with the other dolls for some more time.

Yea, Nicole has been around since the show 'Popstars' and the group it produced, Eden's Crush. She's even acted and been featured on many songs by other artists. "I'll Be Your Love" is a truly beautiful song.

So far, three songs have leaked from her album:

Whatever U Like (1st single, grew on me)

And two contenders for the second single, "Super Villain" a pop track about bad boys, symbolized by the term 'super villain'; and "Baby Love" where will.i.am is featured slightly. "Baby Love" is a ballad and is kinda "Stickwitu" Part 2.

She performed WUL on 'So You Think You Can Dance" on Thursday, with some hot choreography. The MP3 for that is at http://pcdmusic.blogspot.com.

Jess and Melody have both been featured on songs, Jessica's were solos (White Lies and Make It Last, Melody was featured with rapper Jibbs on "Go Too Far") Ashley is acting in a small role in a film for next year called "Make It Happen". Carmit has Rihanna's new hairdo, but no solo activity yet. Kim hasnt done any yet either.

Hopefully Nicole does well. I think her song is too anti-PCD, but I enjoy it. I hope her album has success, she deserves it.
 
cool. havent heard it as of yet. But i do like Polow da Don and what he comes up with. Also looking forward to the other girls doing their thing and another PCD album as well.
