One potential theme: Say something in this thread you might like to say in another thread, but don't because it might get you in trouble without in any way confirming, or even really indicating what other thread you are responding to.

...what comment you might like to 'hijack' another thread, but don't, for the same reason as above, with the same 'no giveaway reference' rule.

...and prolly tons of creative stuff you guys know how to do better'n men anyway.

...I tried to edit the above post, but I'd timed out. I wanted to add that, if the first theme is accepted, that my intention is NOT to bring on vicious mean bitchiness, but a much more refined, subtle, witty kind of... well maybe... bitchiness.

Zany non-sequiter basically appeals to me, too.

if someone knows a better spelling of 'sequiter,' can you help me out?

We should add something else to that topic...For people to give us some context! You don't have to say what thread but at least explain a lil' bit what your comment is about cuz otherwise it'll be just a thread about random comments with no connection between them.

Actually I welcome random comments with no [necessarily apparent] connection between them.

Seriously, though: I have been getting the feeling I might see my first "infraction" or warning point or whatever for 'hijacking.' I have to tell you: I'm not 100% sure what the definition of "hijacking" is, but I suppose it's "talking off topic."

There are some threads, though, where the only nearly appropriate response I can come up with is "talking off topic." It's kind of like in my non-internet life. In my real life, I cannot stand on my head. However, I often wish that I could stand on my head, because sometimes I find myself in situations where that seems to me to be the perfect and only rational response.

So maybe, I thought, it would be cool if there were a thread where people could do something like that.

and yah know, i read that earlier this evening, and then wandered into the 'behold' thread which I had never seen before.... you're absolutely right. if he shows up, he's definitely got some "turf" claims that seem rightful.

but... is there fun to be had here that isn't had there?
