Honestly, I think people need to stop being oversensitive when someone criticize their culture- whether stereotypically or not.
Just face it: Internationally speaking; British food isn't as good as other European cuisines such as French cuisine or the superior..Italian
In Asian region; chinese is the number one likable cuisine, almost every region in the world are able to consume "a well done" chinese food. Chinese food has global mass appeal.
No 2 is Indian because scientifically they just taste soo good, they have that golden combination:

they must be genius!!

Whereas other asian countries like Japanese or Vietnamese and even my native country; Indonesia are lukewarm in comparison in term of "popular cuisine." Some of locals from those 3 like sushi..pho beef soup, satay or tempeh could successfully appeal internationally but the rest of authentic cuisines from those areas might unpalatable to some..(sashimi, ikan asin, sambal terasi, dog.. )

Im actually a bit sad to know that most of authentic japanese teriyaki is almost non-existent; beaten by the wave of Korean version of teriyaki by Korean American. Teriyaki you bought from vendor is majority made of Korean. The real Japanese teriyaki usually not incorporate meat or poultry, they favor fish! Chicken or Pork teriyaki are straight Korean/ Hawaiian fusion, not Japanese. Like you know, Hawaiian love to slicing pinaple in almost everything.

There are some countries with strong cuisine, medium and there are the weaks..
In term of weak cuisines..I say Philiphine's cuisine is quite weak, bland, boring. Nothing really stand out from them, srsly. Adobo chicken..what's that? Chicken with soy sauce?

Pangcit Palabok? My country make better fried vermicelli than them. Balut- yuck x_x

Some of interesting cuisines from Phily is sinagang (tamarind soup- similar with my country sour soup) and I kind of curious with bulalo..the bone marrow soup- I though anything bone marrow is super delicious.. gosh Im hungry right now ^^

In subject of art and design..in South East Asia; My country and Thailand are quite good in decorating our nest. 'Just go to common Thai resto ..have you seen a dreadful Thai restaurant? The taste might not fit your cup of tea, but aesthetically; Thai has versatile cultural taste which can be mix and match when adapting to modern design. Indonesian too, I just close my eyes and I know how everything's gonna turn out awesome using traditional elements from my country. ^^ Speaking of architectural design- Japan "TOPS" all asian countries, their "zen" like quality is unsurpass-able. They're sooo refined, some of you might unable to churn the high quality of Japanese archictectural taste (both modern and classic) strangely..Japanese fell in basic normal human relation. Weirdest bunch of weirdos they are..

Chinese and Vietnam otherwise..have HORRIBLE taste. The later spawn of modern chinese/vietnamese are those tastefully impaired. They're lost in modernity while losing true-sense of their cultural identity. I dont say classical Chinese are distasteful, idk about Vietnamese but classical chinese DID NOT distasteful. Im talking about the majority of modern generation of chinese/viets..these generation are totally having lack of taste.

Faux disney bedroom curtains? Fish tank in front of door entrance? Indoor tropical trees? Victorian upholstery? Huge faux marble table with garish orange wood color? Giant ass mirrors to reflect everything? - All inside a room??..Gosh, the whole place looked like raped by tornado.x_x
And Vietnamese too..got the damage since they're very similar to chinese..
but oh well, vietnamese also love oriental miniature waterfall and victorian figurines..all presented together. They also love greco roman pillar/column in their home, freaky chandelier, tall entrance facing spiral staircase.
The house I rent is owned by Vietnamese couple and the way they design the house is quite hidious like the way they choose colors/materials and actually the entire home-plan is not making sense. I have laundry room adjacent together with living room. The laundry equipments all fit inside glass closet? like they use folding glass closet door to open/close which right now jammed. The basement level mostly covered with hard wood floor and also faux marble for a small portion of laundry area. The transition between hardfloor wood to faux marble tiles is NOT smooth..what in the world I have bumped wood bars squaring laundry area? Are those for No-speed zone?? Because tbh that's quite effective to make me trip in and out while doing laundry.
On upstairs..there's carpet and marble floor (same like in laundry area). Problem is..the transition between carpet to kitchen tiles is also not smooth. The tiles are far higher than the carpet, so if you a type of person whose walk like dragging your feet, you'll be tripped alot and it was quite damn hurt to got tripped upstairs than downstair (I had) because the sharp corner of tile could knock off your foot fingers mercilessly.
Solution: wear high fluffy home slipper. Wear that all the freaking time.

What else..o yeah, they paint this house "Chocolate milk" color with stripes of white covering stair railing..unbelievable. I used to have daylight bulbs for outdoor lights? Which I totally replace them all right now. ^^
But the most unforgivable offense from my rented viet-house is. 'will post the picture later ^^

However, what would happen if one day I have too much money and need total make over from a well known interior designer? Do I discriminate if my agent happen to be a Vietnamese?

Of course not , that would be a pretty stupid thing to do . An educated vietnamese american; of course already have their taste refined. Although I believe majority of them still dwelling in bad taste but the theory might be skewed- individually speaking. My sister in law is vietnamese but her house is like a piece of art..and she's not even has degree in interior design Her little brother otherwise..his house+ my sister is a junk dump. -_-

For classical architectural taste both interior, public, city scape..handsdown..Britain is the best Maybe the entire Europe..wait, Netherlands and Northern Europe architecture is quite hidious, so not all. ^^
Not only British architectural is exalted but..the city itself , its flair and flavor..I love UK and I think UK is pretty high brow/ class..in both classical and modern culture (so dont let those muzzies take over ) Its street, fashion, buildings and music industry..hello, trendsetter! ^^
Why Philippine singers hardly ever well known internationally? Well because although they're good and talented, they're hardly original. Filipino is a huge consumer country- same as mine actually. The more they consume, the more un-original they are, it's like you can't sell pop to the source of pop (here). Unlike South Korean, they make a spin of their own and able to establish their 'international wave' kudos to South Koreans.

Ok, back to Uk. ^^
UK is class..and surprisingly 'still have that image in my mind/unshaken no matter how hard MikeMizanin try to destroy British culture with chavs-low brow materials here
Ok, I might be biased if I unacknowledge British low brow- character. THEY are in fact exist but 'still..the good overthrown the bad. When I think Britain- I have Kate Middleton image in my mind- and she's class! As well Diana and maybe Prince Harry too, that hot carrot top
The impression isn't the same when I think about country like...Kenya for sample.

Now, lets go back to food section again. ^^

Middle eastern food is good but "lukewarm" in appreciation and never can beat Mexican food popularity in US. Maybe the fact is different in other country but from my personal taste; Middle East food (using Greek cover) is too sour..sharply spiced, that's why Gyro will never be in the same page with Chipotle. One time there was a gyro truck open nearby my area- it bankrupt immidiately, only go for business for couple of months..It wasn't surprise.

It's easy to spot which cuisine winning/losing just by sitting in a mall food court- the easiest spot to observe. I observe..Chinese take out like Panda, Indian, Thai and Korean teriyaki are never stop having customers, following..Gourmet burger/ cheese steak, Ivars seafood bar, Russian bakery and mexican..in the row, while Gyro/Middle eastern food vendor are less likely having customer.

To Be Honest, I actually pissed saying these things about Gyro, shawarma, falafel and all kinds of Middle Eastern food.
Hey, I love Gyro!! I crave gyro once a month, they're part of my favorite food. And I like the seller too ^^- I will keep coming to eat over there so they dont close If you like your stuff why not keep loving it? Who cares with popular opinion/trends?

My point is..Im speaking in "majority result" The volume speaks! Although the result is vary most of time, people have favorites, but there's median outcome of result. I mean c'mon..if you're in competitive business..you know this thing very blunt. Most people dont bother to shred opinion on issue like this because they afraid to sound offensive/ignorant but for me? I'm just gigitty of why these things swept under the rug? I mean we can smell but we choose not to articulate the smell? Why not? ^^

to accept our strength and weaknesses. Because each country, nationality, ethnicity or whether you're in team work, acapella group, etc...there always be plus and minus and it's OKAY to acknowledge that. ^^

Long time ago in my 90's childhood era.., I remember "ASIA BAGUS" what's that? That tv show was like an equivalent of Eurovision- but the asian-version. Japan surprisingly very pro-active to support the show with MC and everything (just like in colonial time when they refer to many of asian countries as long lost? sadistic "brother" ) although their candidate usually fall short or embarrassed themselves in the show (Japan is quite weak in singing tbh)
Pinoy, my country or any other country usually better than them..while I think Philippine is always a step ahead "further" in singing technique or ..they might having more talent than the rest of asian countries.
Below is a prove that show actually exist ..this one from 1992 and the winner is Krisdayanti from Indonesia, I just knew she was from there/Asia bagus..shocking! She is currently a big diva now.

So, when my view toward British guys/ men in general is like #2223? How about guys from other countries..some countries are very low in my sexual expectation like I would be sexually starving if I move to China, Taiwan or Hong Kong ....
Im not biased just because Im asian ..east asian countries are twinks galore, the men not really bulked up. They have their own appeal but I would remain frigid then. And it's not all about body and size, facial too.

In my own ethnicity- closer genome look if you would like to call...it's quite difficult to describe my attraction toward other asian brothers because asian guys- rarely display themselves out there, they're shyer..so it's difficult to pin point my preference since not many of us threw sexual photos back then..they starting to become wild with current technology but before then, say 10 years ago..or even when I was a gay kid (1998), it was difficult to find naked asian men on internet ..Can you believe it's easier to find naked white guys-following by black guys at gay porn?
