Threesome questions and advice

I've never had a threesome before. A few years ago, I emailed two guys in a relationship who had a craigslist ad up, and one guy was interested after he saw my pics but the other one wasn't. The second ad I answered was written by a guy who was interested in having a threesome with a buddy (they weren't a couple), but I emailed them too late, and they said that they had already done it and weren't interested in repeating the experience.

I just answered another ad today, but I don't know... maybe craigslist isn't the best place to find a threesome. Also, since I'm new to this, I don't know what the etiquette is. I just feel really clueless and inexperienced, and I don't want to make a complete fool of myself. Does anyone have any advice for a total noob when it comes to threesomes?

I've never successfully met anyone on craigslist. I've only used grindr, a4a, and manhunt, but is craigslist any more "dangerous" than the others? This is a serious question.

From what I've seen (and experienced) Craigslist is really dangerous. My aunt was almost raped by a guy who wanted to buy her couch (thank god her husband is in law enforcement and was able to protect her). If you do some research, this isn't uncommon especially when it comes to sex. I'm sure others have had positive experiences, but I wouldn't risk it but that's my opinion. If your story is true (I'm not saying it isn't) you're at least moderately attractive, try and set up a threesome with people you know or people who know people you know. I've had WAY MORE than my fair share of random hook ups with people I don't know and I know I'm lucky that I'm okay physically and in my health; but I'm very capable of protecting myself (my father was a foreign diplomat so, before he up and left, I had training in tons of self-defense methods and martial arts) and I don't know if that's true for you.
