You'd be very wrong to think a social stigma has anything to do with my choice not to wield a gun. It's a personal choice.

See the above answer, plus, what "gay establishment" is going around stating that we need to be anti-weapon, and why? I'd love to hear some examples on this. I don't need to analyse things to death here... I just choose other ways of defense should I need them.

It also seems that pro-gun people - in all cultures where the purpose is small arms protection and not military in form - that a lot of those pro-gun people seem to make themselves to be nuts; it's not an endearing practice to "draw a line in the sand".

This happened to a local guy in South Carolina.

On May 16, 2007, at about 3:45 am, Kennedy was leaving a local bar in Greenville when a car pulled up beside him, a young man got out of the car, came around and approached Kennedy, called him a faggot and then punched him hard enough that his facial bones were broken, he then fell and hit the asphalt. This resulted in his brain separating from his brain stem and ricocheting in his skull. He was left lying there and a little while later, one of Kennedy's friends received a voicemail that said, "You tell your faggot friend when he wakes up, he owes me five hundred dollars for my broken hand."
He later died of his injuries. Stephen Andrew Moller, (age 18) was charged with Kennedy's murder. The warrant stated that the act was "a result of the defendant (Moller) not liking the sexual identity of the victim."

What the fuck is wrong with parol boards who let murderers off after serving such a short sentence? Because the victim was a gay man. Had the vic been a pregnant wife or a senior citizen... Life sentence easy. Gay teen, you'll be out in time for the next hockey season.

Well Hello everyone. I've been a troll for a while now, and i decided to join because this is such an issue.

before i get into this...i am in no way trying to glorify myself as a big billy bad ass, just stating my opinion on the subject.

I really feel for this guy. look how small he was compared to these three "cool ass gangstas" it didnt take much to punk him out, and that infuriates me to no end.
in my own personal view, i think alot of the gay community is very passive against attacks, i could be wrong so if i am, feel free to correct me. you see all these pictures of the LGBT community photos after they have been attacked, but they never show what this so called "faggot" can do to another person if they just fought back. but you dont see that.

it is also my personal view that guns are the most cowardly weapon to have ever been created. there is no honor in wielding a gun. just bam!..and you're dead.

I can tell you i dont get into very many fights because at 6'4 and 300 pounds and the stature of a football player i can usually stare someone down. i let them think about it. from about middle school to nineteen years old got myself into Mixed martial arts, muay thai & my grandfather teaching me some american kempo.
now im a pretty passive guy. im not a bully, im also pretty smart so i would rather pick you apart with my words. but if you decide to hit me, gay or straight...lord help you, i will dim your lights.

so the focal point of this post is to share a personal experience:

i was holding hands with an ex of mine in the mall one evening. everything was great, until i heard the word "faggot" shouted. so i stopped and turned around. nothing. we were then in the parking lot about to leave when two guys followed us to the car.
"I saw you eariler faggot. yeah, i yelled that out. me and my buddy dont like you spreading your faggoty shit around in a public place. so now we're gonna teach you a lesson."

My only response was "do what you need to do"

needless to say, one guy received a broken jaw, a shattered wrist and a dislocated shoulder, while the other one i knocked out by kicking him in the temple. my ex had called the police when it was over with, they did the obvious by questioning me...and the one cop turns to the other and says "wow..they picked the wrong day, and the wrong gay." LOL "good for you sir. we'll take them off your hands now"

So maybe its my size, my knowledge or god knows what else, but i wont stand for being a target and later on down the road a victim. I dont need a gun, i myself am a weapon.. that goes without saying i suppose..but i didnt walk away unscathed but they got off much worse. so to those that feel like they need to protect themselves or just want to have that knowledge for when the time comes, i implore most to learn self defense. because they'll never see it coming from a "Faggot"
