Calling something "nuts" is often a way to dispense ourselves from searching more in depth the why and how of disturbing things. We would like to think all humanity is pure but human psyche is complex and sometimes dark.

And in fact part of my career has involved the forensics mental health system. So I have seen some pretty complex sociopaths and psychopaths.

They all have misfiring neurochemistry or a missing part of their brain, which, triggered by certain events unleashes their ability to murder or hurt without remorse.

Such a shame that Magnotta and Paul Bernardo couldn't have met and hooked up for a night.

I am inclined to believer the doctors who believe he had faked the schizophrenia from long before he murdered.
 
^ I didn't believe the schizo excuse either. A schizophrenic is unlikely to be able to avoid international law enforcements for 2 years. I just think he had a Jeffrey Dahmer mentality.

He is similar to many self-absorbed scum. The murder was one thing, the posting of the video, another entirely.

As always, there is too much attention given to the monster, and not to the innocent lives he destroyed.
