Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland!"

Re: Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" Set Photos!

I can't wait for this to come out, I love Burton's movies.
Depp for some reason seems to shine in Burton films, almost like he was born just be in them, and before anyone starts to wonder, no, I'm not a big Depp fan myself.

This could be fantastic!

I remember a PBS (?) special with Meryl Streep that I absolutely loved.

Great book and story, now we need a great film.....

I thought I was the only person in the U.S. who saw that.

(Yes, it was on PBS.)

When I bring it up everyone always says they've never heard of it.

Meryl was great in it. That's when I learned she could actually sing.

Is the Queen of Hearts going to be in this?

You're talking about Alice in Concert. I absolutely love that show. And Maryl is wonderful in it. I saw a college production of it in Boston a few years back.

This looks good. I love how twisted Tim Burton is. And I can never get enough Helena Bonham Carter!

Re: Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" Set Photos!

Christopher Lee and Anne Hathaway are the two performances I'm excited about. Lots of British veterans on that list, should be a good cast.

I really dislike how they always seem to combine The Queen of Hearts with The Red Queen. Two completely different characters from two different books. The only thing they have in common is the colour red. Also, I dislike that the Mad Hatter is, all of a sudden, so close to Alice. I would think that the only character from Wonderland that Alice would have a strong connection to would be the Cheshire Cat. But, then again, Tim Burton needed to add a big important character for Johnny Depp. The actual story comes in second to that.

Love Tim Burton films! Not a big fan on Johnny Depp, although I did like him in Sweeney Todd. And Helena Bohnam Carter as the Red Queen! OMG! Can't wait to see this, and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen! And I sooo can't wait to see Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar.

And Crispin Glover would make a cute Knave of Hearts ;)

Looking forward to this movie!
:D

Thanks for the pics! It looks great! I've always wanted to see a dark version of a children's story (sort of like Pan's Labyrinth), and it with Tim Burton's mind, it'll probably be awesome.

This looks like it will truly be a excellent film
i just cant wait any longer!!!!

oh wow, i didn't know they were going to make a film about this and if johnny is there i'm totally watching it :gogirl:
just wish alice were a sexy twink :-({|=

I am actually excited for this movie. It is definitely going to be visually stunning. I am hoping the script and acting are equally as good.

Here's a pic of Anne Hathaway as The White Queen

This movie is going to be fucking amazing. Tim Burton does so well in fantasy and Alice in Wonderland is one of biggest classics in the fantasy genre. Can't wait for this.

I hope Anne Hathaway can talk different, she talks like she is so sarcastic. I saw a movie poster when i went to see The Proposal and I went to see Harry Potter today at the same theater and it was gone
