Time Travel To The Past

I'd like to see a lot of events, but the beach landings on D-day during WWII are close to the top.

I'd go back to 1908 so I could watch the Chicago Cubs win a world series!

So many places, but I'll list three;

1. To see the dinosaurs, and verify their colors, sounds, behaviours, etc.

2. To see if Alexander the Great really was "in love" with Hephastion.

3. To see the North American continent before the "pilgrims" came over.

I'd like to go back and meet my dad and his friends when they were teenagers. It would be fun to see my mother too at that age.

Would love to go back to ancient Greece and Rome to see all the great structures before they began to fall apart (and especially to see how really wild Caligula got!)

Oh WoW! Thanks TtT...............how phun to even think this one through......maybe, just maybe, go and watch Tom write and John H. sign the Declaration of Independence (just for its sheer impact on history)......Oh boring I know but there are way too many splendid opportunities...............it is way too hard to choose just one..........how about the first time my parents met..........hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......what insight and phun that would -B-//////////////

I would go back a couple of years, to where my best friend and myself were just sitting in the backyard watching the wildlife (hawks, birds, squirrels, etc.), or possibly when my best friend fixed a simple outdoor lunch with fresh fruits, cheeses, crackers, and french cafe music with our neighbors in the backyard, while we watched the creek run, and deer eat the grass behind the fence, or maybe one of times when he gave me a big hug and told me that everything was going to be fine, or maybe seeing him at the first community spring festival that we created together, gesh...I just can't pick one...too many memories...they were good memories.

1) Back to the 80's - I loved the 80's but I was just a kid! Of course I could interact with people, nobody would know me - not even I would know me (uhm I would know better than to tinker with my own past).

2) Back to the time of Jesus for obvious reasons that others have already posted. We would also need to assume that I'd be able to learn the language - I think I can take tips from our resident Daniel Jackson (gsdx).

Sort of 3) Studio 54 seems a compelling idea but a) I'm not pretty enough to be let in b) I'm not much of a partier/clubgoer.

3) Break the rules and go 100 years in the future and see how far (or not) we've progressed; whether we've entirely killed ourselves off yet or made the world a better place.
