It's kinda dumb, but something about this world time zone clock appealed to me. It is a map of the world, with the correct time for each zone, which can be appreciated by mousing over the area of interest on the map. You can click on you own time zone, to set it as the default. You may bookmark the map for future reference. It can also be embedded it into any website you may have.

Wanna know what time it is for a fellow JUBber out there?

So wassup with Saskatchewan? They gotta have their own goddamn time zone? :p

:wave:Well why don't I make my first post here. In Saskatchewan we don't do daylight savings time so we're with the central time zone half the time and mountain time zone the other half. I think.

And another question. Why isn't Greenwich, England, on Greenwich Mean Time?? LOL!

^ That makes sense, Corny, but if you believe the map, all of England is on the same time zone. It seems to be called "WET" (I don't know what that stands for).

Right now, WET and GMT seem to be on the same time. I'm guessing that there must be times when then differ, however, or there wouldn't be a separate zone. I bet it's the same as Saskatchewan - England goes on daylight savings time in the Spring, and then it's not on GMT!

and it stays mysterious .. i found this map:

time_zone_map.JPG

which has greenwich in the middle of gmt - but on the gmt + 1 is on the left, which IS wrong since germany (right) is gmt+1.

this one (huge) makes more sense:

http://www.theodora.com/maps/new9/time_zones_4.jpg

but it also puts greenwich in the middle of gmt - so i guess i was wrong ;)
