Short answer: no. Please re-read my original post. Pick a Republican candidate, any Republican candidate. For example, the beliefs espoused in frontrunner Rick Perry's recent book Fed Up are almost identical to McVeigh's. I suspect the beliefs of McVeigh's "pal" Terry Nichols would be likewise, but without the charm and charisma. All I have to do to "bash" (as you say) a Republican is to post one of his/her videos.

P.S. I think Timmy would want Obama to be a one-term president too - just like Mitch McConnell, et al.

The logic is right.
The whole point of destroying the WTC was to damage the American economy said the Osama. When the Republicans decided to use the debt ceiling as a bargaining chip, they were willing to torpedo not only the American economy, but the world economy as well. Conclusion: as domestic terrorists, they were not equivalent to Timothy McVeigh, they were worse.
