Agreed. I did Early Voting this past Friday.

Despite all of our faults, I still love this country. Especially on Election Day. It's the one day we get to overthrow our government. ;)

If you haven't done so, get your butt to the polls and vote your conscience!

Voted weeks ago. With my schedule and places I have to be at various times, it is much easier to use absentee ballots, but I vote in every election from all local elections (including Co-op) to national and have done so since I was allowed to.

If you haven't voted yet, get out there and getter done. It is a privilege as well as a civic duty. Enjoy the day.

I just voted. It is too easy for me. I just have to walk down to the community lodge, which is only around 6 homes away. I found out that registered greens in my neighborhood has grown 600% since the last election. It changed from 1 to 6. I was the only one previously. hehe. :)

Despite our Bush bashing, he did say something of great import to everyone, whatever their affliiation

"do your duty, cast your ballot and let your voice be heard".

puh-lease....you actually think he means it? a high turnout has traditionally hurt republicans.

i actually voted by paper ballot in the fire station behind my house...i didn't see any of those controversial touch screen machines.

I voted early on a touch screen.

Straight Democrat ticket, then Libertarian for any races against a Republican where a Dem wasn't running!

When I voted today, they had us feed the paper ink stamped ballot through a machine that determines if it was filled out properly. That will prevent someone for accidentally voting for more than one person, as well as other possible errors. If they do make an error, they just have them fill out a new ballot.

Sorry guys. i guess i have finally come to the realization that no matter who I think the best candidate is, If that person wins they are still going to do what the hell they want and what looks best on their record once they get into office so, I have chosen not to even waist my time this year.

the fact remains that politicians will always make their decisions with their political careers in mind not the common good of the united states.

write in a candidate in protest or choose a third party....some of the positions that I chose....were third party choices (green party) that have no chance of winning. And you are not just voting for candidates, there are the propositions. just can't stand apathy. *points to the JUB dungon*

Look at the post above this one...he voted Libertarian....
