Sadly, there is no universal & binding receipe for human happiness and bliss in m2m relationships.
My BF and I have enjoyed an open relationship for several years now. I do not see that changing any time soon.
We are both slightly promiscious, enjoy cruising and having sex with other guys.
I do not own my BF and he does not own me either. I would hate to start developing the feeling that we are missing on something. I would also hate for boredom to set in.
I have both seen and experienced LTRs wither and die, simply coz one or even both partners felt they were missing on something, someone.
Most men are biologically wired to spread their seed as far and as much as they can. Monogamous conditioning came in much later and makes little sense in m2m terms.
Nope, open relationships are not 'friends with benefits' or 'fuck buddies'.
My BF and I do many things together. He is part of all of my plans and so far, I have been part of his, too. I have helped him get into the business and he has helped me run it even better. We spend most of our leisure time together.
Neither one of us can really imagine that the other one would not be around, if need be. We rely on each other completely.
We deeply love each other.
And equally so, we love our freedom, too.
