You are going hunting no doubt about it ;)

Now how successful the hunting is another matter. Your husband may be hunting "wabbits" but you may be hunting him if you get what I mean :badgrin: If you feel that you can't kill the animals you can always accidently miss.

Seriously hunting isn't that bad, and if your husband loves it, you can learn to at least appreciate it :) So what form of hunting are you going to do, what type of animals are you going to try to kill?

IMO as long as you eat her, it's all good. I don't agree with killing things otherwise. I personally am an omnivore so I eat both plants and animals. As an intelligent being, we can choose (like you have) what we want to eat.


To the original poster, yeah, go hunting.
 
You need to take a leaf out of his book - he enjoyed the soccer because it made you happy - that's the attitude you should take with you on the hunting trip.

You would be wise to confide your worries to him beforehand so that you don't come across as being hypocritical or negative during the trip. There are aspects you can enjoy: the excitement of stalking, the countryside, watching the beast in him, his feeling of superiority when he realises how squeamish you are. None of this places any responsibility on you to pull the trigger. Remember to praise his success and admire his skill.

Unless you are vegetarian then you are colluding in the killing of animals anyway. Were you aware that the game of soccer that you're so fanatical about is simply a form of ritualised hunting with opposing tribes chasing the prey (ball) around the field? And what's your attitude towards the bullfight?

No comment on the romance in honeymooning at the world cup... you're lucky it wasn't with me, because my team won (!)
